@openmind

I would like to do 25 gallons, but it's not really an option with my small yard. They will be a bit root bound by the end of the season and they will be drinking a lot of water but they can survive in the 10s. I'm doing my best to top them and keep them small.

Most are in Fox Farm Lucky Dog (cheap), some are in Roots Organics (preferable).

I've been using all dry amendments. I like worm castings, bio-char, alfalfa meal, rock dust, guanos, insect frass, etc... And I always plant with some mycorrhizae (mykos works but there are others).

I also foliar feed with fresh aloe (you can buy it powdered if you don't have it fresh). Horsetails and stinging nettle are also good for foliar, and probably other plants I dont know about...

My yard is partially shaded so I don't have to worry about that. If you're going in 25 gallon pots and your plants are hardy, though, I don't think the heat will hurt them much.

Loph, the blackberry and sour d both look like they could use some nitrogen.

OK. I'll add some asap. Thanks

And to Lipa. No these aren't autoflower. I had them on a 24 hour light and had to move them outside so they started to flower. Now I've been moving them into my crawl space every 12 hours so they don't start vegging again.

What is foliar feeding and how do you go about it? Is it just misting the leaves with nutrients

It is ess just that. Just some nutrient solids or solution added to water and then poured into a spray bottle.

Yes. For the aloe, I cut a couple branches and squeeze out a 1/4 cup of gel and blend it up with a little water. Then strain out the extra solids (so sprayer won't clog) and mix with a gallon of water and spray the entire plant, top AND bottom of leaves.

Its also good to spray with just water every now and then. This helps wash pests/dust off, and the weight of the water will strengthen your plants.

Some dedication is right, moving them every twelve hours, my man!

I came here for advice on a feeding schedule for the clones I just took.

Seeing as they don't have roots and I assume it takes several days for the stem that's buried to become roots or sprout roots, that you don't have to worry about soil nutrition until the first transplant? Is photosynthesis / stored energy enough for my clones for a week or two or should I consider a super light (100ppm) fox farm feeding after a week or so?

I would think a good sized clone would need nutes

Maybe a light foliar feed since no roots?

They're Mango Sapphire (Bubba's Gift x (OG Kush x Afghan)) from HSO, been a favourite of mine ever since I first grew it like 4 years ago maybe. It is seriously tasty as fuck, super loud with exotic terps. Not really mango though, more like earthy coconut type of taste.
Very indica-dominant which I like, it makes super sturdy branches I've never had to stake or trellis it it just holds its own weight like a champ.

The particular plant I took these cuttings from seems to have some sort of polyploid mutation going on with one of the branches, would love to see some crested buds.

I'll take better pics in natural light.

One on the right row looked wilted and wimpy soon after planting in soil but one on the left looked to perk up and get sharp shortly after. Now two on left are perky and sharp and the sad one looks even sadder.

Same conditions. Same soil mix. All big healthy tops. I find it interesting it's almost like it's the plants choice on wheteher to try hard or not.

Switching to flower tonight for first time, lights out in 45 minutes

Those plants are very small to put into flowering. How small is your grow space? Are you doing some sort of sog. I would be interested to know what kind of yield you get and what kind of lights your using.

No they're tops I just cut off a few days ago. The donor plants are going into flower.

Though I am planning on doing a SOG with these as fast as possible. Veg them for a month then Chuck em in the tent before the donors are done flowering.

Here are better pics of the mutant Mango Sapphire branch & plant:

Note that I haven't topped this plant at all, only pinched the main stem until it cracks at every new node. I've been using this technique for a few years,  it really helps bush out a plant.

Good thing I took it out of the tent to take pics looks like it has a bit of mag deficiency I didn't catch under the leds.

Intresting how it looks to be polyploid or something similar, leafs an branches everywhere.
I wonder how it´s going to turn out when bigger.

Yeah we did a lot of trimming of bushes in our back yard for these babies,
also a southern facing garden helps a lot.

You guys ever content w grassy smelling yield once picked and dried? If so, how do you typically overcome it? Can a lengthy cure really restore that lovely aroma?
