I remember when Colt McCoy played in the national championship game and fucked his arm up.
During the postgame show he had to hold onto his shirt collar and he kept saying, "I can't feel my arm."
His draft stock plummeted because of those comments.

Jeez I just watched it. “I can’t feel my arm. My arm is dead.” Maybe not the best thing to say when you’re about to go to the nfl draft.
Despite the loss, not a bad game for the redskins. Would’ve loved for them to win, but I’m looking forward to Thursday’s game.
Tough day for the Eagles.
Really hoping to see the Bears beat Minnesota tonight. Bears have been having a decent season.

KC couldve put it away at the end with two opportunities for INT. Between the missed drops, penalties, and inability to deliver on those game changing plays, i am surprised they did what they did. Almost entirely driven by offense and i think late in the 4th it showed that they just ran out of gas. 51 points was their ceiling, and Rams seem like they couldve gone a bit longer yet still. Telling of how the SB will unfold should these two meet up again. KC better clean that shit up or they will be much more disappointed then.
Also, dont sleep on the Bears.

Yep. To most of America, the 2 "best" teams in the league scored over 50 points each. To real football fans, both teams ALLOWED over 50 points each.
That's a fucking college basketball score.

Pretty soon, the quarterbacks are going to have "pitch counts" and relievers like baseball, lol. I thing both their arms were getting tired by the end of the game. I think the bears are real too, they have a very good end of season team that could go well into the playoffs.
I was at the Ravens game on Sunday and kinda enjoyed the grind it out on the ground sort of game and play good defense that they played. This "catch the greased quarterback thing with Jackson won't sustain them but it was fun to watch. They get to play Atlanta, Kansas City and the Chargers yet, so they have a long way to go to get into the playoffs. Football gets fun this time of year.

Verdict on Russell Wilson yet? Curious what you think. We've had a lot of games now to evaluate.
He's a Poor mans Drew Brees throwing the ball but his athleticism allows him to make plays few could. Sometimes that leads to missing the easy play..because he's too damn short.
I'm riding with Russ though. Hopefully he takes a slight bargain so they can fill in some holes and resign the few guys that deserve it. What do you think he's worth? $22 million a year, five years?

No. I don’t. NFL teams need balance. QB’s, teammates, and owners need to hold hard at 15M in order not to blast the salary cap. That’s plenty of money and there’s enough left over to build around.

Russel isn't worth a huge contract, he isn't even remotely close to Brees. You couldn't make a worse comparison... He is not the worst QB out there, but they have had to limit his throws and now run more than ANY other team in the league. Those aren't signs of a strong QB. He is still prone to disastrous turnovers and shouldn't be paid the $30mil a year he wants. The team should start rebuilding with Oline, Dline, new coach, and a stronger draft class than the past 4 years. This new NFL is all about throwing the ball non stop and he most certainly isn't built for that. Russel constantly misses wide open receivers that would be TD's as Aikman pointed out several times vs the packers. You may as well go with him because that's what we got and he isn't the worst, but he really isn't built to succeed with these new NFL rules and 40+ point games being the norm now.

FWIW I think that’s all 100% correct.
It’s not just my frustration with the Falcons either. I’m really disappointed in the nfl. It’s like a rock band that used to be so much better.
If a serious new league started and played with old school rules with no instant replay and let defense play and also just said hey it’s a dangerous sport it’s not for everyone I’d switch in a heartbeat.

Yeah, but the two teams have a combined record of 19-3.

Pretty sure we'd rather be them, broseph.

True but I think you get what we’re saying too. The direction of the league sucks.
PS

Let’s Go Falcons.
