Brady has played the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins 2x a year for decades. They've been awful for decades. If they were in the NFC West, or anywhere else in the NFC their fate would be much different.
Uhhhhh the slow white dudes won. Edelman made people look stupid all night.
The punter was low key MVP though.
What a shitty game. Shoulda been the Saints.
Man a shitty game? Only if you're drunk and not a fan of either team!
That punter is crazy good tho lol

It was a defensive battle, sorry you can't appreciate that. I was out of my chair for most of the 4th.
Go Pats!

Same.
Bill, you Pat's fans suck Brady off all day but BB is the real champion here. He straight up out-coached the other guy.

The Rams offense was inept and the aging Cheatriots offense also struggled. Neither team has a top ranked defense, but keep trying to polish that turd.

PJ - the looks they were throwing at Goff they were up in his head they took away the play option and didn’t bite on shit
Say what you want but the pats won that game with crazy smart defense
I’ll take that over those cliche Hail Mary Aaron Rodgers wins anyday
Only because the nfl has done everything in its power to make defense irrelevant but the beauty of the game prevailed

This year has been all BB..but he owed us this year for totally botching it last year when Brady had the best Superbowl...in history
Bill took it personal and wreaked havoc this year and let tom sit back and take the wheel
But last year man Brady got robbed and he was the mvp so you can't knock Brady at all IMHO

Thank you. My only point
What you guys just saw was a full team coming together to win it all no matter how scrappy they had to be. This was one of the best Brady bowls because it brought me back to 04 when Brady didn't have to do all the heavy lifting

"Hurting Jared Goff shoulders blame for offensive ineptitude" http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001016313/article/hurting-jared-goff-shoulders-blame-for-offensive-ineptitude
Even goff admits their offense was inept. There was no SB Ravens, Seahawks, Bucaneers, 85 Bears, or 2015 Broncos level defense in this game. The Rams offense was just flat out ass without girly.

What a bitch ass excuse. EVERY football player is hurt on that field, every one.
These guys are right, the Pats defense was just straight up smarter than the Rams offense.
But it wasn't a "defensive battle" because that implies both sides had great defense. The Rams defense was mediocre, Edelman showed us that, the Patriots just sucked ass at finishing drives.
I can promise this, Drew Brees would not have walked away from that game without a fucking touchdown pass.

If the pats played the saints it would have been a whole different game with different results. Patriots may have lost by 30 or won by 30. So the whole "drew brees would have so and so" doesn't work

And how can people say Brady played so bad while saying Edelman played so good? Brady had to be atleast decent to get his WR the mvp

This comment is retarded on so many levels. Did I say "Brees would have beat Brady"? No, I said Brees has experience and would not have flopped around like that little kid we watched last night. The game would have been more entertaining because two actual pros would have been competing. If you deny that you're a lame.

Nobody said that. You're being delusional in your Brady obsession, as usual. What I said was BB won that game last night.

What I said is not denying anything you said. I'm just saying that there's a chance brees only would put up 3 like the rams. It's very unlikely but still possible..especially since his play was declining as the year went on
Rams had a better offense than the saints

Hoodie has proven so many times he adjusts to his opponents. He does this better than any football coach in history. The game he and his staff used against the Rams would not have beaten the Saints. He would have played an entirely different game specifically designed to beat the Saints. Sean Payton is a great coach but even with an incredible home field advantage he couldn’t figure out how to beat the Rams. Belichick isn’t just great. He’s the greatest. Ever. By Far. I’m not a Pats fan so I’ll leave it alone after this but the Pats defense on paper man to man wasn’t the Legion of Doom that destroyed Denver. Or Monsters of Midway. Or even my dear old Falcons Blitz Grits. But the Patriots defensive play calling was the best you’ll ever see.

Those are cool graphics
The reoccurring theme is Goff overlooks the open man and throws into coverage.
My take on it is Goff was unable to do his progressions because he was overwhelmed and NE knew exactly where to put the coverage to exploit that. Any other coach and I blame Goff.

Go Pats!
There's a difference between a Defensive battle and shitty Offenses. The Seahawks vs 49ers used to have plenty of Defensive battles but there was always some great Offense mixed in.
Even the best Defenses leave holes occasionally. Its the Offense's job to capitalize on them. There's no excuse for scoring only 3 points in an age where the Refs favor Offense.
