first run with shoeboxes and first grow in years
started paying attention to surface conditions a little late so i got a bunch of side pins
will pay closer attention to the boxes i have colonizing right now
i think i will have a little more wiggle room because they are 2 quarts to 2 quarts
the picture is one quart to one quart

Harvested this shoebox that I had forgotten to dub.

I think I'm gonna dry these clusters as is.
I like this cluster.Has the "menace" traits I've seen in some of the other pics.(wavy type cap)

The typical large B+ fruits from brf cakes.

Working on some Lions Mane liquid culture, handwood grain bag, and grain spawn. (My first fr each of these three!) Looks like good contamination free growth so far. Each was prepared in a DIY glove box and steralized in an InstaPot pressure cooker.

Just FYI, you'll want to convert that DIY glove box into a DIY SAB. Glove boxes were ditched a while back

I kinda miss B+, i worked with it straight to grain twice. Was great. Definitely need to do another round. Even with MS the B+ pretty much looked the same and had stable potency. Convex caps, not too much bruising, and lots of spores. I recall mine had light caps, but yours look really white.
PS: glad to see someone else here working with Maz cultures

Picture of my cakes today at day 11. I really expected pinning earlier. Do these look healthy? I am currently misting 2 times a day when the surface dries with ~10 mists to the tub. I am concerned that misting may be inhibiting knot/pin formation. What do you pf tek gurus thinK? For the record the strain is AA+ on straw and BRF cakes. I was initially going invitro straw tek but birthed them when that was not producing results.

Chlorophyllum genus of fungi. The Shaggy Parasol name is specifically composed of 3 sub species of the chlorophyllum that do not get you terrifically sick when injested. The way a shaggy mane is different is determined by its spore print soally. Green Chloros are very common and will try and kill ya. The white spores ones are edible [shaggy mane] when cooked and I've found they are quite delicious!

I actually am doing a grow/exploration into the Shaggy mane currently in this journal if it's of interest to you. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=25264836&page=0&vc=1#25264836

Interesting that you pointed that out. What I find sort of odd is people showing grows who are new members. Do people frequently open new accounts? Or is there a preventative measure in place against that?
