Little worried
    #2526470 - 04/05/04 03:39 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

My jars were innauculated 20 days ago, and for about 3 or 4 days now i haven't witnessed any progress. I would have though i would be seeing primodria by now (this is my first grow)

What should i do, should i birth them and hope for the best? should i wait?

Also i notice that i had too much water on the upper left hand jar, should i abandon it or birth it with the rest and hope for the best?

The could be colonizing on the insides....wait a week then birth them...and wait for all the primodria to appear.

waiting for primordia is a waste of time but your jars must be 100% colonised which most of yours are not.
do what Emark said flip the jars, when you flip them hold each jar upside down in one hand and knock that hand against the palm of your other hand, this will break the cake away from the jar and allow fresh air to reach all parts of the cake.
you will witness a very rapid completion to colonisation after you do this.
you can birth or case your cakes a few days after they are 100% colonised, waiting for primordia in the jars is generaly considered as unwaranted these days.

cool thnx, and about the other cake? (the one i used too much water in) should i just wait for 100% colonization and birth it then? or is it a moot point?
