Vitamin C has earned such a big reputation that it cannot live to. It has been said to be the cure for colds, the flu, pneumonia and several other diseases.

As it turns out, vitamin C pretty much goes right through you if you take more than needed. Vitamin C supplements are pointless unless you have scurvy..

Vitamin C is good for a bunch of stuff, and your body can absorb up to 400mg two or three times a day. It's good to take with working out. It doesn't prevent a cold but it does help one recover faster. All the miracle Vitamin C stories are about IV which allows much more.

Philip K Dick claimed that high dose IV C cured his meth psychosis.

It's not good to take more than the RDA of Vitamin A, and no more than 400IU Vitamin E. Theres a great audio book by Andrew Weil about all this on torrents.

Turmeric is a spice and a wonderful one. It has lots of health benefits. Spices in general are good for you, garlic, cinnamon, rosemary, thyme, oregano I take all of them and other things too. Colorful veggies and fruits are good, blueberries, sweet peppers, kiwis, sweet potatoes, others too.

From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)

I put turmeric on my leach bites after every bloodletting. Stuff works wonders. Leach bites heal up in about 3 days usually.
