Ok...I asked a question in the other forum and another issue came up. So, that is why I am here. Let me tell the story again. I left town for a week 2weeks ago as I was about to put these into my fruiting chamber. With the advice given on the board, I wrapped them up and stored them in the fridge for about a week until I returned. When I got back, I took them out and put them into the fruiting chamber. It has been a week now and I'm starting to see little knots developing. I know the casings may be a bit dry because they are pulling away from the container. Could this be the reason they have a blueish tint to them?? I am thinking this is bruising, but ya never know so I am asking you guys Thanks!!
Cool...ok, you can never be too careful I was extra extra good in the whole sterilization process, so I would be baffled if they were contamed. I've read up on mold contamination and it doesn't seem to be that. From what I can tell about mold, it usually starts in one spot and spreads with a heavy green color. My whole casing has a blue tint, which doesn't look like mold at all, and is on the entire casing. I think I'm all good
