i.e... pot can be anywhere from dirt weed that doesn't even get you high all the way to some dank nugs that send you flying. what about shrooms? do you ever get 'dirt' shrooms that won't even get you bouncin? thanks!

No, you don't get "dirt" shrooms (shrooms grow IN the dirt). You do get lower potency from strain to strain and sometimes if they have been handled and dried poorly, there will be a drop in potency.

"dirt" weed doesn't refer to weed grown in dirt. It is shitty weed. Therefore when he is making a comparison "dirt" shrooms would be shrooms of low potency. If mushrooms are dried incorrectly they can be of lower quality. I have found that most mushrooms on the street aren't as potent as homegrown mushrooms. This may be due to the fact that they have so many that they can't dry them properly. Most home growers take the time to ensure maximum potency while drying by not using heat. Most of the time FOR ME the bigger the mushroom, the more I am weary of them because they may be found in nature and dried improperly. I know that homegrown mushrooms will USUALLY be smaller in size and more wrinkled than wild mushrooms. I live in a state where wild mushrooms don't grow as readily as in other states so take that into consideration when reading my post. I am by no means an expert.

Don't get me wrong, wild mushrooms can be as potent as homegrowns but usually growers take care of their product better. Also different substrates can affect potency. I like homegrowns that were grown on birdseed myself

woodloving species are more potent than cubes, but you're unlikely to run into them
home-grown mushrooms are generally more potent than those picked from a pasture.
mushrooms which have been properly dried and then kept in a cool, dark, and dry place in a sealed container are better than those which have been dried improperly or put in bags and shifted hands between dealers who stored them poorly.
fresher mushrooms are better than those which have been sitting around for a long time.
potency can vary greatly.

hell yeah he's right, indoor on poop is a lot stronger than anything else ime, wild mush are pretty potent but when dried they seem to lose a lot more potency than home grown even when handled with utmost care.

I tried dung but it got contaminated
Therefore all I know is that I like birdseed better than brf and homegrowns over wild ones as I've never had a fresh wild mushroom.
