Gymnopilus junonius ID Request

First off, I'd just like to say I'm excited as hell right now! Not only have I been searching for this species for over 7 years, but I'm really happy to be posting on the Shroomery again after about a 5 year break. My priorities and lifestyle have changed a lot since my last post, so I thought it fitting to start with a clean slate on a new account.
Also, just for the record, I will not be consuming these regardless of the identification. I don't have much interest in psychs anymore, and even if I did I'd much rather play it safe with some cubes. I read on Wikipedia that certain subspecies contain a neurotoxin anyway.
Habitat: Found just a block away from my house in suburban central Florida. They were growing directly from a palm tree stump.
Gills: The gills are attached and have an orange hue.
Stem: The stems are solid, relatively firm, and have a distinct annulus.
Cap: The caps are convex. The larger specimens tend to have notable hygrophanous/white discoloration in the center. But the caps of the immature specimens are a vibrant orange color.
Spore print color: The spores are dark/rust brown
Bruising: No bruising has been noted as of yet.
Other information: The caps are smooth but not slimy. I noted a scent almost reminiscent of cubes but slightly sweeter and more pleasant.

An interesting find, certainly a Gymnopilus. The substrate brings palmicola to mind, I'll have to thumb through hesler monograph to see if I can come up with anything. There are many names from Florida, hopefully the slightly decurrent zinc orange gills coupled with the buff yellow glabrous pileus will lead somewhere. Did you notice any bruising? Could you provide the flesh/context color as well?

Good catch don, It does look like palm tree as the substrate, I didn't catch that until you pointed it out.
