Power Supply Question
    #2523739 - 04/04/04 05:15 AM (13 years, 5 months ago)

Ok I'm trying to use a 350W power supply to run an old computer fan that I have on my terrarium. I know the fan works but that power supply won't make it turn, so it's something with the power supply. Last I knew, the power supply worked, so my question is: Do I have to do something other than plug the power supply in and turn it on and plug the fan in? Or has the power supple died?

just test the supply with something, like a stero or something.

it depends on the power supply... ATX needs a switch or a jumper in order to make it work, AT power supplies generaly have a switch attached

at the bottom of the page it the pinout for the motherboard connector for ATX models...
