Damn thought I had a rye seed all hooked up and then it fell through, Iceland has so little choice for our hobby lol
But anyhow can anyone tell me what of these three I should use, the cheapest one seems to have a lot of yellow corn, anyone have any advice for me.

Can you source mason jars in Iceland? If you don't, it can cost you an arm and a leg importing SFD's and mason jars from America and trust me they aren't anything special. I did exactly that when I started and ordered a bunch of mason jars and SFD's that cost me a kidney.
Later on I discovered that I wasted good money for no reason because the jars shown in the pic work like a charm, the lid is one piece, it opens and closes easily with a very short turn (never gets stuck) and it's completely hermetic. They also have better visibility and are completely round.

I get these jars from a Chinese mall in my area, but really any kind of pickle jar or glass jars for preserved foods will work. They run circles around mason jars for this hobby. You could silicone a piece of SFD's onto the lid or use polyfill as I do.

You dont even need sfdβs. You can use polyfil from a fabric store or ezfelt covered with micropore tape from the craft store and drug store. Theres lots of options.

Hmm I can get those type of jars, in another city but I'm sure they could ship them to me. Iceland is so weird, canning jars are like a non existent thing here.

No idea, I'm very new to birdseed, the brand though that makes this seed is European apparently a big supplier.

Canning is not practiced in Europe so that's why you won't find canning jars , which ain't the real problem because there are cheap and good alternatives for us as I showed you. The problem is that because canning is not practiced in Europe you won't find pressure cooker-canners either, which turn out to be the bees knees for our purposes, although Ebay has good deals on pressure canners with reasonable shipping costs.
Btw, 120 usd for a 25 kilo bag of wbs is highway robbery. Are you sure you can't find any local grain? Any cereal grain will do.

Its crazy right, well I have been trying to get a large bag of Rye grain seed, there is a mill here that makes flour but they don't sell the grain. What other grains could I look into, I can check farm supply (maybe seed sellers if there are any in Iceland.)
The Rye seed guys said they would look into it, that was 3 months ago and was told it would not happen anytime soon lol.

i like the stuff from petco with the cracked corn in it, it dont make it sticky for me, but i do rinse with hot water before straining, a bit of the corn starch c gets on the seeds makeing spores germ better, ive seen a newer tek where they sprinkle on some brf, ive tried strait millet and it was slower and had less myc on the seeds

Shit, should have read the OP.
I don't know shit about Iceland except they locked up banksters without having an army. +1 to Iceland for politics, -1 to Iceland for imports
How much does it cost to mail something heavy there?
I don't know what your living space is like but, unless you absolutely need to be doing bulk, I'd stick to noob teks as OBRF and things like that have to be attainable at a grocery store.
Considered alternatives like the bottle tek?

How much would a large flat rate box be shipping wise to Iceland from the US?
