Some stuff:

MS to wbs quarts on left all doing great - "Maz" spores from one of the people here.
Brf chunk to oats in pints Z+ variety center of photo.
MS to brf pint jars in back right. All nearly 100%. Z+ strain.
In the drawer are "Mars" and "Maz" in brf cakes just getting started.

Finally starting to work with agar.
There are so many teks for LI and LC that it is almost confusing, but I hope to be working with them soon.
I have spores of "Maz" and Golden Teacher mycelium on agar.
About to do some transfers.
So far, the contamination is minimal. Less than 1 in 10.
Thanks for any input.
You guys/gals RocK!

Yea,they do look like they've been thru an ordeal. What size cakes are those?FC size?Do you have a smaller tub/container you can use to fruit in?I have read the sgfc works best packed full of cakes.Seems kinda like your cakes are out alone on the moon.I'm guessing that could be the cause of the dryness.Get them some buddies or pack them into a smaller fc.

I think you fucked up with the bed mix. Did you mix the solids before adding the water? That'll fuck you up. Even if they were killer cakes my advice would be to start more

I think one of the bigger issues with oats is not letting them dry enough before jarring up and PCing.

Yea,this is how you want your setup.:super:
I spawn all my cakes to bulk tho,so any advice I have on fruiting cakes is purely from research and observation, along with basic mushroom cultivation knowledge.

Experimental 6qt done with MS GT. Few mutants and I had fuzzy feet while I adjusted my FAE with Micropore. But I still got 3oz from 4 flushes before tossing yesterday due to trich appearance. This was done with Wheat Grain spawn and coir/verm

Well, I got some pictures, some good, some bad, picture none the less. I cloned that fat chode.

These red boys are quite interesting. For how rhizo the Myc was the fruits were short. Though I love the way the cap looks on these and it seems like the veil is almost nonexistent! It breaks as soon as it's made. I love this var.

Taking some printies! To everyone waiting on my mail I have been dragging ass for these, I was hoping to throw in a cool treat.

Hope everyone has a good and moist day!
