Are you talking about Scarlet Begonias? Since when is this song about drugs? I've never heard the Sublime version but I've heard the Dead version a lot and I've never had the notion of drugs pop into my mind when listening to the lyrics.  :confused: :gd_icon:

pink is given drugs by the doctor in comfortably numb, i don't quite know if it fits in this thread though, since most (all?) other songs mentioned here are about recreational drug use. and remember, pinks memory of the numbness is from his early childhood, when he in all probability hadn't started using yet.

most songs i can think of have already been mentioned, but:

nick cave - opium tea

opium is the manliest drug in the world! in heaven, queen victoria reigns supreme and infinite!

uh, and cypress hill - everybody must get stoned and psycho realm - pow wow can make me feel almost stoned without smoking
