I send you some good vibes too Lipa. :wizard:

I hate bugs and spider mites are one of the worst.
Killed 3 of my coca plants not so long ago, the bastards.
Growing indoors are a hell with the bugs.
Good ventilation is very important if growing in a growtent, that i have learned the hard way.
Outdoors at least some other bugs eat spider mites, keeping them down a little in numbers.
I hope it turns out good and you got rid of the mites.

Are the red ones more evil than the pale ones with 2 black spots on them?

Lipa, heard of using soap in sprayer bottle for bugs.
Does this work for aphids?

Essential oils can help w aphids. It can take some time though... a few applications. The dish soap is used only to emulsify the oils so they can mingle nicely and be dispersed in a uniform fashion. I have read about people just using dish soap too, though i have no personal experience. W EO's, its best to switch up the formula w each application. Neem and cinnamon are ususlly in every one of my batches. W aphids, depending on the plant, you can smtimes blast the plant w a hose nozzle and knock a lot of them off..l then spray the rest down w oils. Repeat the process in a few days. I dont always do the nozzle thing, but i have and it has done the job. Gl

I usually just squish them by hand, never blast with the hose dun wanna hurt anything.
Have used neem extensively, never with soap, and never with cayenne or oils or the like.

Soap for Aphids works well. Aphids are managed quite well with home made sprays as they're quite delicate. Rosemary oil should work as it's an oil. Will suffocate them.

My sweet mint is under attack by loopers. :frown:

I've found some eggs on the underside of leaves and did my best to smash them.
Killed all the worms I've seen.

Anything else I can do to combat these Leaf Shredder's? :minigun:

By Loopers, do you mean caterpillars?

I'd suggest using a product with Spinosad or BT(Bacillus thuringiensis). Biological control via bacteria and fungi.

Organic too.

Glad we don't have hornets. We have Asian Paper wasps though. Was up a ladder about 3 weeks ago, went to remove some Boston Ivy with my hand. Instead I grabbed a friggin' wasps nest. Shot down that ladder so fast and did the 100 metre dash.

Set up the hose, armed myself with a rake and then gave them a blast. Nest fell down and then I was swatting like King Kong.

Australian Bull Ants are probably the most painful sting I've had. Got hit by a native wasp behind the knee while out photographing in the bush a few years back as well. Had me on the ground in pain while removing my pants. Getting laughed at by my girl.

Ditto. Damn. The back of the knee? That sucks man.

I mightve been premature in calling it a hornet. Def some sort of yellow jacket. Thin body, thinly stripped black and an orangy yellow. I saw a pic of a european paper wasp that looked similar. Idk, but i tried to knock down the nest today and they came at me fast! I mean i ran as fast as i could in the house and slammed the door  i creep back out there in a little while and check it... i didnt even knock it down. Theyre still there

Me and my friwnd when we were small got a long stick. We wrappped newspaper around it and lit it. Then we slowly got close to it and fired them wasps up. We got most of them that time. But they liked building their nest on my parents house all the time. The small nest werent a problem but that was a very large one.

We would always fuck with them and then run like hell trying to get away. One time a lighter and a hairspray bottle was as a flame thrower. It was cool as fuck til my,mom saw it and got after us. Good times.

Agree with the Australian bull ants giving the worst sting.
Was bitten through a thin pair of gloves, felt like it was on fire.
Must be slightly allergic to them to as my hand swell up like a club over a few days.

I removed a large one a couple of months ago via the flyspray and lighter tek. Workmates thought I was just going to spray it. They were impressed. It's great because it singes their wings and they can't fly after you.

Glad to hear you got a laugh ferrel. :smirk:
