White supremacist rally leader gets yelled at by his dad during livestream
Quote:
White supremacist rally leader Jason Kessler was interrupted while filming a livestream on Tuesday by his father, who scolded his son for recording in his bedroom.
Kessler was filming an interview with Patrick Little, a neo-Nazi who ran an unsuccessful campaign for Senate in California.
“Hey! You get out of my room!” Kessler’s father is heard to shout during the livestream, a clip of which was shared on Vox.
“You got a drunk roommate there?” Little asks, to which Kessler replies, “Something like that.”
“I want this to stop in my room, Jason, this is my room,” Kessler’s father says.
Kessler organized the “Unite the Right 2” rally in Washington, D.C., last weekend to mark the one-year anniversary of the deadly Charlottesville rally. Fewer than 30 white supremacists attended the event and were met by hundreds of counterprotesters.
“You’re not staying with an Orthodox Jew are you?” Little asks Kessler.
Kessler then says he was forced to move back in with his parents due to mounting legal costs from last year’s rally, and says that he and his parents are “at a crosshairs” over his views on Israel and Jewish people.
He also refers to his parents as “cucked,” an insulting term used by people on the far-right, and says that they are exposed to “constant anti-German propaganda” by watching the History Channel.
Little appears to empathize with Kessler’s plight, saying that he has both an apartment and a boat, from which he is filming, in case he is evicted. He says in the video that he may have to start renting the boat out or sell it at a loss due to his expenses.

Trump fan thinks you can separate the politics from punk music.
Here’s the story of a gigantic fool who thinks there’s some kind of demarcation between punk and politics. Tim Hildebrand, a Trump-supporting farmer, was shocked, apparently, to learn that Social Disortion’s Mike Ness, a 40-year vet of the punk scene, was critical of right-leaning politicians. After Ness trashed our president onstage at a July 17th show at Sacramento’s Ace of Spades, Hildebrand found it necessary to verbally spar and hold up his middle finger (for multiple songs) in “silent protest.” Surprise, the 56-year old Ness, who’s been quite vocal about his distaste for Trump as of late, did not appreciate that.
In the below video, you can see Ness offer up both a loogie and a finger of his own before diving into the crowd to throw some punches. Hildebrand left the show with two black eyes, a busted lip, and a concussion. He claims that he “wasn’t able to defend myself” due to people in the crowd holding him back. Not very alpha, bro.
“I pretty much said I paid for your music, not your politics,” Hildebrand told CBS-13, adding that he plans to press charges against Ness. “I stood pretty much with my silent protest with my middle finger up for the next two songs.”
He added, “If he wants to have a talk someday, man to man, I would love that but he would have to not be a child about it.”
No, conservatism is not the new punk rock. Y’all are just fucking annoying.
Sacramento Police are investigating the incident.

Wrong thread. This is an example of a right winger being abused for his political beliefs. He peacefully protested and ended up getting assaulted, and you're glorifying it? If this was the other way around you guys would be talking about how violent the right is... hypocritical to say the least

Their island is drowning from sea level rise and they don’t believe in climate change. Oh they also want hundreds of millions to build a wall to keep the water out.

Yeah well sea level has risen a foot over the past 90 years and 6” in the past decade
Land is sinking around here since the end of the ice age but 95% of the sea level change in the bay is from rising sea level due to melting ice.

I saw on the news yesterday that the guy was saying he didn't believe it was climate change but land erosion. Im not claiming it is, but that's what he thought. He also thinks trump will actually build a seawall... you think trump will spend millions to build a seawall? But yea i think its pretty comical when people deny global warming, fucking retarded

The small island of Tangier, Virginia, which is vanishing due to rising waters, has surpassed an important community fundraising goal after Donald Trump told the mayor not to worry about increasing sea levels.
“He said, ‘Your island has been there for hundreds of years, and I believe your island will be there for hundreds more,” Tangier Mayor James “Ooker” Eskridge said Trump told him in a surprise phone call on Tuesday. The president said “not to worry about sea-level rise,” Eskridge added.
Tangier has lost nearly 70 percent of its land mass since 1850, losing up to nine acres each year. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers predicts rising waters and erosion will be so dire in 20 years— even fewer in the event of a major storm — that the remaining residents will be forced to abandon the Chesapeake Bay island. The population has already shrunk from 1,500 to 450.

edit: shit...should've read the recent posts before I shared this. lol
Summary: Trump supporter goes to Social Distortion (punk rock) show and is surprised when the singer makes anti-Trump statements. Trump supporter protests by putting his middle fingers in the air, Mike Ness of Social Distortion jumps off the stage and attacks him.

How fucking stupid do you have to be to go to a punk show and be surprised when things get political?

Quote:
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A Trump supporter claims he was attacked by the lead singer of a punk rock band when he jeered the frontman’s political statements.
Tim Hildebrand of Galt says the attack happened at a Social Distortion concert at the Ace of Spades in Midtown. Hildebrand says he grew up listening to the band’s music and was excited to attend one of their shows, but never thought he’d leave bloody and bruised at the hands of a famous musician.
Cellphone video taken at the concert captures the moment the Social Distortion fan says he was beaten up by the band’s frontman, 56-year-old Mike Ness.
“I wasn’t able to defend myself because people in the crowd were holding me back,” he said.
Hildebrand says he the singer gave him two black eyes, a busted lip, a concussion and almost knocked out one of his teeth. The chaos broke out at a concert on July 17, but before things turned physical, Hildebrand says the show turned political.
Hildebrand says the singer started badmouthing President Trump and America and the Republican farmer from Galt didn’t like it.
“I stood pretty much with my silent protest with my middle finger up for the next two songs.”
Ness didn’t like that and in the video, you can see him motion Hildebrand to the stage, where the singer spits in his face. Hildebrand says the two were yelling at each other when Ness lunged toward him.
“Takes his guitar off, jumps off the stage and proceeds to punch me multiple times in the head.”
Hildebrand says he was dragged out of the venue by security and filed a police report with officers who were standing outside. He plans to press charges.
“Someone that has the status that he does shouldn’t get away with assaulting someone.”
“It was a little bit excessive,” said Social Distortion fan James Mauldin.
Mauldin says while Ness acted unprofessionally, music fans should understand controversy is part of the punk rock culture.
“If you’re that into politics, don’t put yourself in a situation where it could become a problem for you,” said Mauldin.
Attacked in the middle of a show by the very person he paid to see. Hildebrand now wants the popular punk rock singer to pay for his actions.
“If he wants to have a talk someday, man to man, I would love that but he would have to not be a child about it.”
Sacramento Police say they are aware of the incident and say it is under investigation. CBS13 reached out to the band’s manager who said the band has no comment.

ha, yep. went there about 20 years ago and i couldn't understand the casual conversations between residents i accidentally overheard. much like i can understand spanish when someone is speaking slowly and carefully, but overhearing a rambling conversation between native speakers not so much.
these people are a strange combo of hardened watermen, rabid xtians, and know-nothing dummies with a sprinkling of education, but the more educated ones usually leave for higher ground.
