The fact that people like this are still around and find pleasure in being tribal little children is the reason the USA has issues.
"Let's make a thread where we can poke fun at people we deem to be on the other team so obviously they're idiots."
People are idiots. People are cruel. People are close minded, obviously. You don't need to divide them up into "them vs us" scenarios so you can try and make your tribe look better by cherry picking stories from morons and portraying that as right wing. I'm so tired of hearing about left vs right.
The entire country is full of absolute fucking morons. Calling them leftist or right wingers or libtards and right wing psychos or whatever does nothing to solve our problems. All it does is show humans tribal nature and inability to look at a problem and not blame "them" for it.
Until we can move past this bipartisan bullshit we will be doing no real work in this country. It's no different than 2 children arguing over sports teams. Building little echo chambers for your team to come and play is entirely useless.

Yeah why divide ourselves by political party when we can divide ourselves by nationality? Brilliant.
And yes, he is wrong. Progress doesnt come from making nice, it comes from power. And the only way to wrest power of those preventing progress is to take it.

Do you think that power cam be taken without force? Let me say, I have turned into a pacifist after some military service, but that doesn't change things. I am convinced, and based on historical events, that any meaningful revolution or power grab comes from force. I remember a quote from some book about war:
"Pointing fingers turns into pointing guns, as no one listens to pointing fingers."
-------------------- “I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

Can you be any more dense? Is your reading comprehension as limited as your mind? When did i ever say anything about playing nice? When did I ever say anything about being again fighting or having the idea that power can be earned without fighting?
You're not here to converse or debate. You're just waiting for your change to post and ignoring what others say so you can put your own ideals in their mouths.
My opinion that energy is wasted on this tribal childish "them vs us" ideology has nothing to do with what you injected into my post. Everything else was put their by you so you can tell me I'm wrong. Which is hilarious because if I'm wrong you're saying that we should continue this childish game of teams and continue fucking things up.
Yet you speak of progress. You're hilarious. Keep having a conversation with your own ego.
In 2 posts I can already tell how ignorant and pedantic you are. I said nothing about nationalities either. In a perfect world borders would be meaningless. We are all humans and if we could ever grasp that and work as a species instead of being so stupid to divide ourselves by religion, race, political affiliation, or whatever we would he so much better off. But we don't. Because the world is full of idiots as you are proving with every word. Maybe next time try and read what the other person says instead of waiting for your chance to try and show people your opinion. You have no idea what my views on other issues are and you have no place to presume to speak for me or what I think.

I'll form a coalition with anyone who wants to build a just and better world.
I'm not gonna be civil with people who are trying to thwart that.

No it doesn't. That's why I stated force seems to be the only human option, unfortunately.

Wow you really are that dense
You read nothing and continue to ignore everything I said just to continue this conversation with yourself. If cooperation with fellow humans is something you think is "hijacking" a thread about making fun of the opposite political party then you're the problem and should get the fuck out. You keep trying to paint me out as this pacifist trying to get everyone to hug and love and drop their guns because love will conquer all. But you're just a fool who can't grasp any other opinions. So anything that isn't "yeah I totally agree with you" is free game for you to twist and skew without any care of what's actually going on in the real world.
It just shows that there are morons like you everywhere. Even on a forum about mind opening mushrooms. But idiocy can't be cured unless the idiot wants to be cured. If you had any sense or even anything resembling competence you'd learn that I place no faith in peaceful resolution at this point. The powers that be are too ingrained in the corrupt system for anything other than force to work.
It's indicative of a weak mind and a weak personality in general that you take such offense and resort to dense idiocy when faced with the idea that your team is a joke and the entire concept of "right and left" that you obviously hold so highly is a joke. I'm so sorry i disrupted your echo chamber and showed you the possibility that your crutch is pathetic. Now you actually have to rely on your own opinions and thoughts instead of relying on your teams pre made opinions. That and you'll actually have to find other things to talk about other than "lol look at this dumb right winger I found on YouTube.".
Terribly sorry I ruined your little party.

It is extremely unfortunate.
Ideally, we can reform the system without having to employ violent means. Thats why I joined DSA.
