Can you add any heat at all? My only concern would be germination

The WBS I used with cracked corn didn't do well with heat, turns the corn to goo, so I soaked it for 24 & 36 hours and didn't have any issues using it. Just spawned a tub with jars that had the 36 hour soak, did not see a big difference. Just got 100lbs of clean oats for a steal compared to cost of WBS and I am digging them so far. I'm knocking up a case a qt jars with APE, then all of the ones I got ready now and all of those getting nocc'ed up I'll fruit, clone any interesting phenos or clusters, fruit those and slant my favs. I'm just starting to put Red boys threw the same ringer

Before I use WBS, I swirl it around a small-holed pasta colander to separate the millet, milo and sorghum from the corn and sunflower seeds/shells. This mix is perfect for grain masters, but such small grains can dry out easily in the jar. If I'm using it for bulk spawn, I'll mix in some of the leftover seeds/corn, but at a small enough ratio to where the corn starch doesn't get out of hand. The leftover shit can be tossed, but I'll often mix it with CVG/BRF/whatever and load it into PP5s and fruit from the bottles.

So Presto told me that they are goind to add to the manual for their 23qt PC that you should not use it for grains. I'm going to have to send em the lid from this defective one and they will replace the unit this time. Keep an eye out for this change.

Um.. A little context would be nice... Cooking loose grain can plug it and cause an explosion, but sealed grain jars aren't the problem

I could see them trying to do something. For food preservation the cycles are much shorter and less psi.

I mean I'm pretty sure I told em it's in jars. I have a hole in the bottom of the kettle due to a defect in the metal.

I just think that it has nothing to do with the contents of the pc.

If they are sealed in jars then why would it matter if its grain, as opposed to regular canning items such as vegetables. Its not like the PC knows whats inside of the jars. The hazard of them plugging the vent if you were cooking them in there sounds a little more probable i think imo.

Friend is planning on doing a LC. After it is made what's the best way to sterilize a syringe? Completly separated, together with cap on/off?

Use pre sterilized syringes?
Presto...Best warranty in the business.
My bottom popped to covex with water in the PC. Not much water but enough. The metal sucks and they know it and they replaced mine without a picture or anything. Brand new and delivered for free to Canada.

Lucky, I had to send em a picture and then send em my lid before I get the replacement.
