Disinfected Soil Substrate

Hello hello, im new to this and i have 9 syringes with nice little spores floating (the result of half a spore print) around. I've got the rye and all of the stuff but the other day some friend who id trust my life and who has grown almost every known psychactive flora known to man. He told me he had grown mushrooms this way: He put a sporeprint inside a sterilized/disinfected soil cake, put some water or something so the spores would proagate waited and the mycelium began fruiting. This cake he put then in a tupper in a bathroom and he got some nice shrooms. I wanna know if injecting spore solution into a disinfected soil substrate could get me some results, thats all bye.

Well, if it works, be sure to post it with pictures since nobody here has ever done anything like that that I know of.
I seriously doubt it would work.

Maybe injecting Panaolus spores into a sterile mixture of brown rice, and dung would work.

Anyways i cant understand how come you have to be so hygiene fixated when spores in nature can grow in cow shit, i think it would work and since i have 9 syringes im gonna give it a try, ill tell you if it works.

Because nature doesn't care what grows where or when. You do.
Good luck.

What he's saying is that nature works very differently from indoor growing in this hobby. If you want success, stick to any of the established methods. Even if the soil mix you start with is sterile, it will take so long to colonize, that it won't be sterile by then. You have a much better chance of growing contamination than mushrooms.

ok thanks a lot roger rabbit anyways, that sterilized soil i was gonna keep in a jar, it was going to be the same procedure as boiling rye and all that stuff, except that you put soil so i dont see why would that soil take so long to colonize (this guy's took about 2 weeks, standard) blabla what do you think?
