Uneven Pinning

My last tubs, which were some time ago, had a more even production of hyphal knots in early fruiting and produced a more even set of pins. This tub seems to be pinning sparsely. I do see knots forming in the areas without pins.

I think the FAE was a tad low, but the sub has never dried out on the surface, its always been glistening with moisture. I made environmental adjustments to increase FAE. 

Im hoping that I get a full pinset here in next few days. Would be super disappointed to get a lame first flush.

Hows this look to you guys?

I know u seem diapointed but I think it looks beautiful :smile: I have had this happen on my first flush before too then the second flush really takes off way better. But I do agree it should be the other way around...
P.s. I really like the mushroom growing off the side of the tub :wink:

I get those side mushrooms semi often. Its cool but makes me wonder where else energy is devoted to popping off more fruits that wont get harvested.

If u don't mind I kinda have a question about uneven pinning also.. I usually use the mini mono tub method and I can get 9+ harvest from it I love it but sometimes I will only get like 8 mushrooms but they grow huge and weight 3-4grams each after drying but then sometimes ill have 30+ mushrooms pop up but they will all grow about the same size and ill only get like 7 grams total after drying.. I don't get it I always do the samething every time why do I get different results ??

Well, not my best first flush but tolerable. Had a very sparse pinset, increased FAE, circulation, misting and pulled a decent flush. Only about half of what I would have expected.

Hoping for decent additional flushes on this tub and still have another tub just put into fruiting.

Got about 1000 Grams wet from the first tub. Again, less than stellar results but tolerable.

Did u use agar? I heard if u just use multi spores it's kinda just luck...

Same if you use agar. Simply using agar doesn't change anything. Selection of good genetics then keeping them is what changes things

Yes I agree sorry that's what I ment by it most ppl use agar to select good genetics. Thank u for making it clear. Sorry I didn't.
I have a question all that white on the surface area is mycylium correct? How long did it take u to get that much mycylium before fruiting? I'm asking bc I waited 2 weeks one time on my mono tub after mixing everything together and before putting it into a light cycle to let the mycylium grow. It looked close to what u have but it had mold on it :frown: which is why I'm asking how much time u waited for the mycylium to take over.. Someone told me 3 to 5 days but that didn't seem long enough but that is what I do now to be safe but like I said I don't feel like that's long enough time..?
