More like secondary deviance. The difference being that all individuals go in and out of primary deviance, which is any act that violates social norms. When a particular group or individual gets an especially large amount of attention for their primary deviance though, they may start associating deviant behaviors with their personal identity, thus encouraging an increase in the intensity of their deviant behavior. So basically, if a kid in elementary school is constantly punished for minor infractions like speaking in class, fidgeting too much, and other stuff, then they could come to see themselves as a bad kid. If this kid thinks of himself as a bad kid, then when he is a teenager, he may graduate to criminal behavior as a result of putting him in the "bad kid," category.

You are talking about developmental psychology...More specifically, child & adolescent psychology.  There is a difference between the brains of developing children and adolescents and those of adults.  The latter age demographic should have developed a strong enough sense of self to shrug off false accusations.  We're not talking concentration camp like situations here, the Stanford Prison Experiment, a cult or Abu Ghraib, we're talking about everyday adults living in everyday society.  I've been told over and over again by white racists that Jewish people rule the shadow government, whose ultimate goal is to destroy civilization as we know it, but I do not hold any ill will toward white people in general just because some of them are anti-Semitic.  You want to talk about PC?  It's one thing to make the arguments you have made when it comes to the developing minds of children and adolescents, adults are a whole other ballgame.  How about adults grow the fuck up and accept personal responsibility for their racist attitudes and behaviors.  It's not as though someone is holding a gun to their heads, demanding that they talk and behave in racist ways.  Should the SS bastard who gassed my great-grandfather have gotten a pass because he felt the pressure from other Nazis?  Fuck that shit!
