Is this cobweb on my BRF?

These were inoculated 7 days ago with MS solution.
They seem to be "colonising" just about as fast, if not faster than some jars I did at the same time with LC.
This strain is supposed to colonise fast, but is this really possible? I've never seen cobweb and only seen real myc once or twice. Should I throw these out?
P.s whatever it is, is coming directly outwards from the inoculation points.

It also looks almost as white as other jars with fully colonised myc in when held next to it. Not quite, but im not sure if thats just beccause its less fully colonised and the brown of the BRF is making it look duller...
I have six jars that look almost exactly the same.

I've never heard of or seen such fast colonization from MS. Open the jars and waft them, if the odor is bad throw them out. Jars appear funky anyway.

Are those 1/2 pint they look like 1/4 pint which would move a little faster. The jars do look a little wispy but I would wait for someone more experienced to chime in and see what they say. I definitely wouldn’t open them and possibly contaminate them.

Jars are 1/2 pint. If the top verm layer stays in tact I should be good to open them without risking contams, right?

Im sure it’s possible but seems like an unnecessary risk. You could probably stick your nose right to the holes in lid and notice if it smells off. Or just take the risk with one jar and see.

Issue is I don't know what I'm smelling for
Is it that obvious when it smells wrong?

From what I’ve researched cobweb mold really doesn’t smell like anything so it’s hard to tell either way but what I did find is this
Quote:
Fahkface said: Cobweb mold is indeed extremely rare inside of jars. Mycelium is very often mistaken for Cobweb by people with little experience. Especially at an early stage, the mycelium generally starts off grayish and a little fuzzy looking and will later turn into mycelium that looks like people expect it to look.

I say just let it ride and see what happens.

Thank you sir. I was thinking of just riding it out as well, I don't need the jars for anything else and I'm in no rush.
FYI it seems to be thickening up in places now and going more white. I'd estimate these jars are 60% colonised now (visually) after 9 days.
I've never seen or heard of anything like this from MS! But if it comes off, I won't be complaining

So its been a few days... What do you think now? Everything is thick white... Apart from a few odd yellow spots in a couple of jars. Looks pretty good to me though? (Although nothing like other jars I've ever done)

I'm not 100% on the off color yellow on the last two pics, but in any case I'd probably wait until you believe them to be fully consolidated and ready to dunk before you make any judgement. I would not open the jar until ready for dunking either. You can always toss them when it comes time to dunk upon inspection. The smell is usually a telling factor.

That doesn’t really look like mycelium anymore but I’m still new to this. Definitley looks weird to me though.
