Thanks dude!
I’m guessing it’s some kinda bone. The lady that sold it to me said it was originally a $200+ knife, I got it for 50euros which was a steal. Wonder what kinda metal the blade is.
Here’s a couple close ups:

I feel like it helps keep contamination down.
In a separate matter, I didn’t even think a microscope that can pair with a cell phone existed.
It’s amazing the things you can pick up when people share ideas of like minded interest.

i love them and don't know how a sealer would be faster or more effective. it takes me a couple seconds to twist fold and zip tie a bag closed.

None of the commercial growers I've visited or worked for used zip ties, they all used sealers.
I just try to learn from people who know a lot more than my small self. There is a lot of stuff said on shroomery but in the last few years I focus more on what the people with the most success I see tangibly, in real life suggest. Bigger than any posted grows.
For me personally the successful growers I talk to off this site say hands down a magnetic 5mm bag sealer is worth it. After thousands of bags I take their word.
At base I choose to subscribe to the idea a 5mm timed magnetic sealer is more tight of a seal than a zip tie. If it saves one bag that would have been lost it will pay for itself.
It's also shiny. Lol.
Years ago I would have scoffed at this purchase myself.

I've got these .22µ syringe filters, I'm wondering if they are suitable to sterilize liquid cultures without heat... Would be a neat way to have your LC's ready in a flash with no cooling time... Anyone ever try this?

Technically not just for mush growing but they both pull double duty. That's a 20" bar on the Farm Boss.
