Does anyone know if taking anti depressants will cause the high from weed be less effective? I wasn't on any medication and weed started to not do anything for me. I could barely feel it. I've been on a very long tolerance break and was just prescribed cymbalta. I've been taking fish oil because I heard it's good for cb1 receptors. I'm worried the cymbalta will work against me . Any info would be appreciated

What is the reason you are prescribed with Cymbalta? If it is due to depression or anxiety, check out shroom and LSD for their use as anti depressant. SNRI targets at norepinephrine and serotonin, and weed affects other neurotransmitters.

These drugs are generally prescribed as a band aid for life. Deal with your shit mang... life has ups and downs. If you keep doing these sorts of pharmas they will seriously fuck with your brain and you'll be stuck taking them forever and/or be broken depressed never to come back.
Learn to meditate, go to counselling, eat some psychedelics, get some exercise, have sex, get a new hobby... there's so many ways to upregulate your happy hormones without eating mind fucking chemicals.

You think cymbalta is that bad ? I went to doctor for arthritis symptoms. I have pain in all my joints and stiffness in the mornings. He took x rays of hands , back and feet. They hurt the most. He prescribed me Mobic - which is anti inflammatory, and he said cymbalta for pain. I don't want cymbalta to do permanent changes to me. You think it will fuck me up long term or just temporarily?

There are a lot of dietary ways to lower inflammation, there are certainly some cases where things are at the stage nothing will really work but pharms though. At the same point, pills won't stop the progression, so the earlier you address possible causes of the issues the better.
SNRI's will change your brain, typically the effects are reversible. The problem is that it will take a while for your brain to reset and the withdrawals will be rough depending on how long you were using it, and once you make it through the withdrawals you'll typically be back at where you started for whatever you were taking it from.
If I was in your place I'd put some time looking up any natural ways of treating the issues and probably try medical marijuana instead of an SNRI.
There's no harm in smoking while on Cymbalta though, your brain chem will be different so the high might just feel a little different.

That's freaking nuts man. Dump that crap quick smart. Start weaning immediately!
Doctor is just passing out pills on whim and speculation without thorough knowledge of the side effects and long term consequences. Cymbalta can help with neuropathic pain like fibromyalgia, but it will do sweet fuck all for arthritis. Always research any meds given by doctors. They are press ganged by pharmaceutical companies into doling out this stuff man. Don't be the company's cash cow. They don't care about you. I'd get another doctor too.
I understand you are in pain and need help, but some things are far more damaging and harmful than the things they claim they may help.
This sort of stuff makes me so angry. Medical system is so corrupted by big business.

the doctors literally gave me like 5 different anti-psychotic meds and told me to take them the rest of my life. When i left the psych ward, i flushed them all down the toilet and just stopped smoking BHO and stopped tripping for about a year while taking klonadine for sleep. Eventually my mind went back to normal.
It was the best decision i ever made. If i listened to those doctors i would be so fucked up on those medications i would probably not act human in anyway. i would be a zombie.
See, none of these doctors have had drug-induced schizophrenia so they thought i would have it forever when in reality i just needed to sober up and let my mind back to normal. i thank god everyday that i didnt listen to those doctors and followed my heart. i would probably be a damn vegetable if i didnt.
my dad was coming off of benzos and the doctors gave him literally 7 different crazy medications to take because they didnt know what to do. those meds almost killed him. he took my advice and stopped the meds and got help for his benzo addiction and is fine now.
the doctors treat the symptoms when they should be treating you according to your lifestyle. Thats their biggest problem
