To fruit or be patient yet

Unmodified tub, 5 jars of rye, 3x transfer of PEU with MEA, coco coir pasteurized, small amount of verm to achieve field capacity. I mixed the spawn and substrate then put just a thin layer of substrate on top(havent had luck on exposed grain). Most the tub is colonized and popping through the top layer. Technically this is not a casing layer but just a layer to cover grains. Jars were clean and good, bods coir tek with cooler, proper field capacity. Should i allow the surface 100% colonized before fruiting? First PEU grow and seems to be noticably slower then any other cube i have done.

i've never grown peu so i can't say. if she were pe I'd wait until 100% and then throw a proper casing on her. but peu may be a bit different, i don't know.

i mix up my own peat verm lime mix (50/50+) but i've heard jiffy works well. i like to case at 100% and then patch and fruit when it reaches 20-30%. i don't use fresh casing. i just iso a fork and then move casing around while trying not to damage any myc.
