First Grow Questions, pinning Amazonian in SGFC

First of all, I would like to thank this community for all the knowledge it has granted me access to. I have read and read and read and read even more, so I hope these questions aren’t bogus. Anyways, I started off with Erowid’s mushroom cult page and stupidly created a PMP, which are very expensive. I was going to use it but after reading tons of threads when I finally got here, I came to the conclusion that this many people couldn’t be wrong. I constructed a SGFC completely to spec, holes in top and bottom. I let the cakes consolidate after full colonization. The strain is Amazonian. I did dunk them for 12 hours.
They have been in the chamber for 7 days, and I have noticed the verm from where I rolled them is being colonized on the cakes. I mist 2-3 times a day. I started off misting them closely, but after research I now spray from about a foot away and lay it rain down. My mister emits a pretty fine mist. A few of the cakes have small bruising spots. I believe I misted them too much at first. I never mist unless all the water has evaporated. I live in a humid area but I am gone ~13 hours a day for work, during that time I leave a humidifier running on low in the opposite corner of the room. The vent near the SGFC is closed. Temp stays in the 70s, 12 hours of light a day, not pointed directly at the chamber.
I know I’ve read many posts saying a week is nothing, be patient, and I am! I simply don’t want to have gone this far only to mess things up at the end. So, please take a look and tell me if anything is amiss. I won’t lie, I’ve been pretty anxious these last couple days about the continuing colonization and have been doing a ton of research, but I finally figured it’d be best to give in and ask. Thanks in advance!

Does your lid have holes as well? Your cakes look healthy from what I can see. My last grow took about 14 days for the first few cakes and a little over that for the rest of them. Just keep your cakes glistening and they should pop soon.

Thanks for the input, yes the lid has holes in it. Here are a couple more pictures for reference. I’ve had a good feeling about these guys from the beginning and I have instilled a lot of positive energy into their environment, first grow anticipation is just starting to gnaw at me but I’ve been patient thus far so as long as everything looks good to more experienced eyes, I’m happy.

Maybe a little to much perlite is preventing FAE so cracking the lid on an angle a little to leave 2 of the corners open for added FAE might help. How often are you misting?

Misting 3 times a day on average. Sometimes just twice. I was wondering if that could be a problem. At first I had like 3 inches of perlite so I added another bag. I might fluff it up or something to see if I can get better FAE. It’s all properly rinsed so no dust is settling and clogging holes.

Not the best picture but you can see roughly how much was in mine when I was running my SGFC...

Update for anyone who cares, 11 days and all my cakes have at least one pin on them. I actually cut back the misting and took a bit of perlite out, as I live in a very humid area. I was just nervous because I see so many threads about pinning in 3 days and what not. Anyways, the joys of having my first pins are immense. Thanks Shroomery for all the info and thank you Mush Hunter for input. Patience was key.
