Planting spores in the wild
    #25180394 - 05/02/18 07:24 PM (3 years, 5 days ago)

Hey there I have a quick question regarding psilocybe semilanceata and their spores. Basically what I would like to ask is: If one was to get many different spore prints and scrape them together to make a syringe of water/spores and go to a field with right conditions and spread the spores what would be the chances of them fruiting the following fall? Sorry if i have broke any rules i`m a newbie to this site.

Ah i see. What about years to come? I only ask as i would like to spread them a little closer to home as i have to go very far and high up a mountain to pick.

If you make spawn first, and noc up a good bed, it could take hold. Shooting spores is not likely to be effective. Climate, environment, and all that. Do what works...Get it started and maybe then try to noc up a
'local' bed.

A syringe? My best bet would probably be taking a couple of mature cakes to a local field where you know there are cattle grazing and leaving them there for a day. That way the wind will spread them far and wide with more chance of them landing on suitable sub. Or some suitable sub landing on them  :puke:. For a syringe youll have to know where to put it and hope for the best.
