Sexy ass areolas you got there PsiloPsychIn
I confess I underestimated the expansion of rye berries after hydration and sold out 3 area Wal-Marts of quart ziplock twist locks for Muda bottles.

Re: TRUE CONFESSIONS - of an amateur mycologist. Next CONTEST is in MAY! [Re: PsiloPsychIn]

Too early to enter the may contest?
So this happened a little while back:
Just did my very first inoculation. 4 different strains. Grabbed the "Penis Envy" syringe, and without thinking, neglected to shake the big, single blob of spores at the bottom of the syringe apart. So...
Long story short, I blew my entire wad of Penis Envy into a single hole.
Oh, the irony.

You know you're going to go balls out with your new place to yourself. I know I would after all the BS you've dealt with in the current place.

I'm so excited! Finally got the movers coming in tomorrow to take everything out. I smell like lysol wipes and my hands are destroyed from all the cleaning and packing.
I went to my place last week to check it out again and drop off all my antique glass. I discovered that the 10x10 closet has a window because it kind of looks like it was build as an afterthought and it used to be one whole room that was divided. I no longer have to work out how I am going to make an exhaust.
I'm still really nervous though because I still have my 6 shoe boxes to move. I bought a black bin so I could move them along with my cat in an uber. But still. Makes me nervous. They need to be harvested now but I won't be able to do anything about that till tomorrow after the movers leave.
And yes I will be growing all the things now. growing in this small place was rough. I didn't realize I had three monotubs worth of jars either. Holy fuck. And so many dirty jars I just shoved in a box bound for the dishwasher when I move. No time.

I confess I'm a little stressed out about 30 nearly colonized grain jars, 6 colonized spawn bottles, 20 quarts of pasteurized CVG, 18 colonized agar plates, a PE6 swab I have coming in the mail and 5 LC jars I finally got through the PC. Oh, and a few subs I've been watering outdoors. I'm in over my head.

I confess, every time I harvest and clean my mushrooms I take the remains outside to the earth because I feel terrible just tossing it in the garbage. Mushrooms come from the earth so I like to give back

I confess,
I borrowed GG&MM from the library and am returning it with this hidden in the pages...

So I guess, my confession is that I'm a nerd (or equivalent) .
