~50-55g dry generally. Maths out to be about 3.6g dry per 60ml

60ml would be 1gr dry to me,
or am i missing something?

I did my math Wrong. You are correct

What if there was a small amount of citric acid introduced during the steeping?

No bubbles. Just low low heat

Just chiming in that I've boiled the fuck out of tea to reduce for gummies several times. Lots of bubbles. The gummies still work rather well -- so if some actives are lost, I would be surprised if it's substantial.

Yeah water has oxygen which oxidizes the psilocin, and it is water soluble

If you use resh mushrooms and everclear you get blue booze.

That is true, but the hotter water gets, the less gas it can hold. After water has boiled for a few minutes, it has almost no oxygen left in it. So if a person wanted to be super careful making tea, I would heat the water first, then add the fruit.
