Is this rye-grass-seed [Emmerson variety] fine to use? [For Sclerotia]

It is really hard to find cultivation material in my country because of the translation gap. We do not have developed agricultural system that I can go around and ask for the right stuff.
But I finally got my hands on some RyeGrass Seeds that says 'Emmerson Variety'. The color is a little off from what I see online and in usual Teks, and so is the thickness of it. It appears that the ones I found are more beefy with more fruit and less fiber. The merchant doesn't know what annual or perennial is but says that it can grow grass that I can harvest upto 8 times per year, and only grown in a region where temperature are less than 35C'.
This is my first time cultivating and I wanted to ask the seniors here if they think this variety is fine to use/consume, and if I may need to do something differently for its thickness. And why is the color of the seeks pinkish? Could it be some chemical treatment that I should be aware of? The seller thinks I need it to grow grass for my cattle so I want to be sure this stuff is edible with Sclerotia.
Please guide. Thanks so much!
Edit: The merchant says the seed is imported from Australia.

Ryegrass and rye are different plants (who would have thought?). I'm not sure if the coloration is a result of some kind of treatment.
If you're having trouble finding millet or milo/sorghum, try asking for "bajra" or "jowar" (I think I'm getting these right?).

Hey man! I do know that Rye (berries/grain) are different from RyeGrass and I am specifically looking for Ryegrass because I couldn't find Rye grain/berries.
Where are you from? Do you know the local name for Rye-grain/berries too?
I found a few bird-seed shops online that have millet and bajra, can I use them as an alternate to RGS? It is my first time doing this so I would need your help if you've managed bajra/millet.

Millet can be substituted for rye grass seed as an alternate spawning material. Use preparation method linked below to prepare millet as a spawning material. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24952939#24952939

I didn't know the difference between ryegrass/rye grain until I researched it. I'm from the US, but I found your location from post history, and looked up "cereal crops (your country)." Try "rai/raee" or "chawdar" (these might be wrong, I think raee is also mustard seed, which you don't want).
I've never grown sclerotia before (or anything, really, for that matter) but some quick searching says they can grow fine on ryegrass- BUT, that red color might be dye, and if it is, it's mercury to poison birds? That's worrisome.

Thank you. I think I found a few substitutes online but they are often always preferred for spawning and not for long term sclerotia, and since this is my very first time doing any of this, I really want to follow a single TEK.
I just hope to confirm if the rye-grass-seed variety is fine to use and that would make things very simple hopefully. Hoping there is no chemicals that may harm consumer of the sclerotia.
I am following sun-stones Tek, soaking for a few hours in jar before PC. How does more thickness of the seed vary with soaking procedure?

Oh damn!! Thanks for digging that out for me. It's quite pinkish, more than it looks in the photo. I guess i'll have to start searching again, preferably for Rye Grain this time.

Okay I found out that the pinkish tone is a chem-treatment to make it 'Anti-Fungal'. The irony
