need help in identifying some mushrooms i found. i live in india.

i've collected these mushrooms growing on cow dung and some specimen had bluish color on stem and cap.

Nice find, judging by the purplish print and the bluing youve got something active, possibly a Panaeolus sp. wait for a trusted identifier though for a final answer.

Thanks but i'm still nervous to consume it because of the fear of getting poisoned. Lets assume its poisonous and i eat only one cap for testing purpose,would it be lethal?

Its not poisonous, but it is psychoactive. Panaeolus (Copelandia)cyanescens are potent, 2 dry grams can be very potent and I recommend you dry them and weigh your dose if your going to consume them

Edit: there are no poisonous black or purplish black spored mushrooms. Mushrooms listed in guides with black or purplish black spores that are listed as poisonous or toxic are listed as so due to their psychoactive effects.

Thank you a lot. I've never done mushrooms before.i did lsd though. Would i get nausea or feel like vomitting after eating? Also i saw some insects/mites inside the caps,should i be worried? How long would it take for the trip to start after consuming?

The bugs will fall out as they dry, start low, to much can make you puke or the trip uncomfortable.

If you eat them on an empty stomach effects can start in 30min to an hour. If you make a tea the effects can come on in 15-20min. I like shrooms better than LSD

This Guy prefers steeping the shrooms in a tea bag:

Boil 1 cup of water and after it has been hard boiling for 30 seconds go ahead and turn off the stove and throw in the mushroom tea bag. Let it steep for 30 minutes. Enjoy. Add honey and creamer for taste. Throw away bag or eat contents if your stomach is okay with ingesting Chitin. Mine is not.

I also add a special blend of herbs and spices to the tea to off set any nausea and potentiate the experience and give a robust sweet and spicy flavor to the tea.

Thanks but i don't have tea bag! Can i soak the shrooms in honey and eat it? Or putting the shrooms in water then boil it like tea, would it work? for how long should i boil? What if i eat the raw shroom? What is the difference between eating raw and making tea of it?

You don't need a bag. Just crush the mushrooms in a cup and pour boiled water over, let it sit for 15-30 minutes
and you just pour it over in another cup using a sieve, or you can just drink the tea as is and chew down the mushrooms
as well.

I make koolaid with the boiled shroom water to kill the taste or you could mix the crushed shrooms with honey and eat.

Edit: I seriously recommend you dry them and weigh your dose, to much will not be fun. I've been eating psychoactive mushrooms for 30+yrs and have had my ass handed to me by them.

Perhaps one can appreciate the comparison of bringing "coals to Newcastle" with "teabags to India", but I digress, perhaps boiling the shroom before straining out the residue will suffice.

The key point, I guess, is to have them dry enough and sufficiently stored so that they wont become contaminated by mold.

I am still nervous though. Are you people sure it is not deadly? The shrooms had black spore print,picked up from cow dung,gills are black and there is some bluish color on stem and cap as shown in the pictures. Are these characteristics enough to identify that these are not deadly? I really don't wan't to get poisoned. Please confirm again. Even if it is not poisonous, the fear of getting poisoned gonna mess with the trip(if it comes) for sure. I'm just nervous. Please help.
