Why are you butthurt, bud? It's not clear when you ask "what mushroom doesn't want to be misted?" that you actually mean, "What substrate and cake doesn't want to be misted?" I was simply answering your question. Man the fuck up and say, "whoops...I meant the substrate and/or cakes, but thanks for the answer!".

I did dude. I think you're the one gettin little tied up over this. All I said was I thought context was enough then clarified the misunderstanding I caused.
Using the wrong word happens to me all the time living with brain damage. I'm over being embarrassed or ashamed of it. I once wrote a whole letter about my service dog but used haunches instead of withers, huge difference, was kinda funny but neither here nor there.
Besides, isn't ceasing to mist when fruit Bodies develop pretty much standard for any species or style of grow? This doesn't strike me as different treatment for Pans.

I directly mist mushrooms. Like the rain does.

Cool, Maybe I'm just confusing it with the Bottom watering stuff. Mist for pins, bottom water after the set.
Thanks dude.

without messy perlite too and can p tamps fruit off cakes efficiently? thin substrates, with sand a la mycolorado, is kickass
Next grow will definitely be based on mycolorado’s wisdom! This is my first and I didn’t realize tamps aren’t really a cake species until after they were colonized. I ended up leaving the cakes intact(I read disturbing Mexicana mycelium can be detrimental to its fruiting) but I cased them inside of small flower pots

They should be fine...can't remember who, but someone had a decent flush and opening fruit off of cakes in a dub tub setup. Also, don't worry about disturbing the mycelium...it won't effect the fruiting outcome, or at least it shouldn't to any noticeable degree...I break up and move colonized tamp sub from bags to tubs all the time with no issue.

Because of their similarities, I’m not sure which cake is tamp and which is Galindoi. I kept them separate after birthing but didn’t think to separate after drying them and dunking overnight. Yes, I know how incompetent that is
I was going to crumble and case after previous advice but I didn’t want to mix them and have one dominate the other
