Do you think this is ready for fruiting?
Mycelium has grown in pop corn. The substrate contains; 3q of spawn + half brick coco+ 2 quarts of Vermiculite + 2 tablespoon of gypsum + 2 tablespoon of calcium carbonate soaked in 5 liters (1.1 gallons) of boiling water.
Using Bod's Unmodified Monotub TEK. It's been 17 days since spawn added to substrate.
I'm a noob. Tried 2 times but always failed. This is the first time I've attained that level so any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Fae is a pinning trigger, but full colonization will trigger pinning more so than fae.
By that I mean don't stress over putting some fae a few days early or late of full colonization.
It's not a hard rule that you must only introduce fruiting conditions exactly at 100%, some never tape the holes and leave it in 'fruiting conditions' with fae through colonization.
Any time over the next few days you have time I would put poly in, doesnt really matter when. Could have done it yesterday or three days from now.
Edit: Oh just saw you're doing unmodified, switch out where I said poly for flipping the lid or whatever that tek calls for.

Let it colonize a day or 2 more. You want it all 100% colonized. You can introduce fruiting now but you'll get better yields waiting IME.

These are the TEKs I use. They're all as cheap and easy as possible, just like your mom.
