Green Bruising?

I had a bulk poo grow going very well. The WBS jars were finished and spawned to hpoo. The poo was colonized by the spawn as planned. After the casing layer was added there was good growth after only a few days, then I patched and fruited.
After another couple days it looks like the mycelium on the casing has a green colored tint to it. It doesn't look like trich or any of the other green molds I've seen pics of.
It just looks like the mycelium is bruised a green color. I've seen actual mushrooms bruise blue, but not green like this. I thought it may have been damaged by some of the water I used to spray the casing layer with because before I sprayed it I cleaned the spray bottle out with alcohol. I thought I rinsed it out pretty good before I put the water in, but the tub does have a slight alcohol smell to it.
What do you guys(or gals)think?
PS - Sorry, my camera isn't working

Rub it with a tissue. If it wipes off, it's a bad thing. If not, it's probably ok.

Some strains such as Redboy bruise green, not blue. If you can see mycelium, and the mycelium itself is green, then it can't be trichoderma. You won't see anything but the dusty looking spores if it's trich. RR

The strain in this tub is Equador. I've had trich in some jars before. It definately does not look dusty like trich.
I dabbed some of it with a tissue, and all that came off of it was water moisture. Is it possible that it could be trich or some other green mold underneath the mycelium that is visible through the mycelium?

I doubt it. Just keep an eye out. Sounds like water damage. RR

Also interested in learning about this green bruising. One of my tester bulk sub jars has bruised green naturally. Anyone else know more about this? The jar is contams free as you can see. It’s actually about to pin.

That doesn't look like green bruising to me. Looks like mold.

Even though the sides are not showing any contamination? I️t has been like this for four days without sporulating or spreading significantly.

You guys not read my post? With the rule of thumb being checking existing posts before creating new ones;, figured would use an existing thread to inquire about identifying what’s goin on with this mycelium. read that using coir tek, color change happens from time to time. Pictures included above.
Unless this is some type of mold that does not spurulate and takes weeks to grow, this discoloration is not due to a mold contamination.

Dryness perhaps? Tends to happen on the top of a jar that's been colonizing for a while. I have had many fruits and subs bruise green. This is why I absolutely hate the term if it's green toss it. I'm like it's right up there with the qtip test. Bruised fruits and subs can rub the blue off. Really isn't an indication that something is clean or dirty either. People need to study the morphology better. Molds look like a sandy powdery texture and myc is hella unique in its texture.

With enough experience you can definitely distinguish Trich from this unique phenom. Hasn’t been very dry. Too much moisture maybe? Either way primordia are fitningnabd the sides are egg white with rhizomorphic myc. Cool to see the green.

I sincerely doubt a fully colonized jars top layer will be too wet when the rest of the jar looks decent. Too much moisture would not result in a fluffy top layer with no water droplets. The only thing between the top layer and the atmosphere is a filter, and after sitting for a week+, it doesn't surprise me the top layer no longer has condensation. It's pretty much dry, which is normal, and happens to all my spawn jars. In the last 2+ years, every person whose posted bruised subs were a result of drying out. Even handling subs rarely bruises. In fact, this even inspired me to make a thread about it because it was happening so much lol

Na this was like just under a week after being opened up. I️t was a sampler wanted to try from bulk trays. When first opened I️t was nice n misty. Ur right. The cottony mycelium probably just got a good whiff of dry air on the top layer. Funny. All the colors reminded me of ur thumbnails. Cool shit
