So today is day 7 since I have spawned my grains to coir in my mini monotub. This is my second tub that I bought bc my first tub is still in it's fruiting stage. It's a 32 qt tub. Problem is this is a different tub than my first. I just realized it has a gasket on the lid so I don't believe I've had any gas exchange. Most tubs don't seal tight so latching the lid is no issue. I'll attach a few pics. Did I do any harm or simply just a set back?
I also used some coir I made up a week prior for my other tub. I'm using an insulated 5 gallon water cooler. Only this time around the same coir seemed to have much more moisture to it so handful by handful I squeezed to field capacity. Is this a no no or is it ok to use coir at a later time?
Learning from my mistakes.
I just flipped my lid..lol..no pun intended.

You didn't do any harm just correct it now that you noticed.
Not sure about the old coir. I know people use old coir but idk of they pressure cook it when they know they're waiting to use it idr.
Hopefully after this thread I will know

Coir from last week is good. You won't have any problems even if your tub was completely air tight (which I doubt). Years ago people used to tape the lid and holes during colonization, they did that for years without issues. I don't think that's gonna set you back.

Probably it rised the CO2 inside, which is good for colonization of the coir. So no harm, I think. Just adjust the air flow and continue the great job.
