Decided not to ruin my new glass top stove so I am also going to get a single hot plate. Does anyone know what is the Best 110v electric hot plate on the market? Please tell me what you think?
Thanks

do u see thst old black and decker. Well it will get a fully loaded 23 quart presto up to pressure. But it takes quit a while. I don't understand your reasoning behind not wanting to use it on a glass top stove. Neither the stove or the pc is gonna harm the other one.

I keep getting different advice, I think the glass top will be OK but don't want to ruin the surface. Did that black and decker really do the job? Anyhow looking for a robust electric hot plate. Holler of you hear of a really good one.
Thanks

Yeah. That old thing works. I live in the woods. Sometimes its hard to get into town to get propane for my 3 burners. Well sometimes ill use thst in conjunction with my stove. It just tskes longer. But it does get it up to 15psi
If i was you rsther then buy a really nice hot plate. Id look into buying a bayou classic burner. You csn get them at places like Tractor Supply for im gonna guess....cheaper then your gonna find a nice hot plate for. AND If you ever decide to get a bigger pressure cooker. Like say a All American 941 model. Youll already have the burner thst your gonna NEED

I tried a hot plate and it wasn’t hot enough to get up to pressure. I will have to check the specs and edit my post
Edit: 120v 1300 Watts wasn’t enough for me. Maybe if I would’ve left it longer it would’ve?

Bought the glass top oven and then got a cuisinart hot plate so as not to ruin the new oven. Hot Plate was top rated, supposed to be powerful and durable. Got it from Amazon so if I don't like I will send it back.Just checked out the 941! You could live in that thing! LOL!
