That’s part of it for sure. I couldn’t be happier with he sponsor I picked up my spores from. Everything’s been absolutely killing it!
Also, my surface conditions stay pristine without me having to do much of anything. Duct taped holes for consolidation , then one layer of MP tape on top holes, two on the bottom at fruiting. Tub is never opened from spawning until harvest.

My impression was that even with perfect surface conditions MS was still a crapshoot. You could get a dominant strain that colonizes really well but isn't a big fruiter, etc etc. I've heard a lot of the time low yields due to poor surface conditions are blamed on a poor MS culture, and you can still get good flushes with MS, but damn. I've seen pics of clone culture flushes that aren't as dense lol. Not trying to knock dude, his set up is clearly bangin on all cylinders. I'm definitely going with micropore dialed monos when I get to the fruiting stage.

No worries man I'm pretty new to all this, so I'm learning as I go.
My extremely limited experience so far has been this, as far as mss grows:
1st grow: 2 mini monos Ecuador var. Fucked with a ton, and the surface conditions suffered for it. 1 tub gave me 2 zips over 2 sparse flushes, the other became too matted, and never fruited.
2nd grow: this thread
3rd grow: 2 mini monos of PE. Other than a case at fruiting, I haven't touched them. Surface looks perfect. Here's a pic of one, gonna harvest tomorrow or Friday.

Looks like dinner right there ❤
