Yellow primordia?

Blobs? Metabolites? Contamination? I have some pins too. P. Cubensis var. Mazatapec. Agar to oats in pint jar then spawned to about 60g coir in a 2.5q tub. Myc colonized oats super fast. Once jar was fully colonized I was not able to wait the full week after due to it pinning in jar 3 days after colonization.

Thanks for looking.

Going to be a whopper of a flush! Call them what you will but these types of pinsets seem to lead to some real fantastical results. A good soak with the sprayer durring fanning will expidite the bigness and all.

From what I understand "mycelium piss" is Metabolites that the myc produces to fight contamination. Thats why in my OP I asked if it was "Metabolites?" I thought it came out like yellow water and not yellow knots.

Ok so yellow knots happen sometimes due to metabolites or they just happen because it's normal? Sorry kinda want to know if I should keep a closer eye on it or if it is normal? Thanks

I see the words"piss" and "metabolites" thrown around frequently here and it seems misrepresentitive.
Myc piss is actually piss. The yellow coloration is mostly b vitamins, minerals, nitrogenous wastes, processed sugar byproducts, creatine etc.
Metabolites are the broken down molecules, basically leftovers of the process of metabolization. Metabolic process is how all cells exchange, absorb, process, and excrete nutrients.
Here is what wikistupidpedia says:
"Metabolism (from Greek: μεταβολή metabolē, "change") is the set of life-sustaining chemical transformations within the cells of organisms. The three main purposes of metabolism are the conversion of food/fuel to energy to run cellular processes, the conversion of food/fuel to building blocks for proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and some carbohydrates, and the elimination of nitrogenous wastes. These enzyme-catalyzed reactions allow organisms to grow and reproduce, maintain their structures, and respond to their environments. The word metabolism can also refer to the sum of all chemical reactions that occur in living organisms, including digestion and the transport of substances into and between different cells, in which case the set of reactions within the cells is called intermediary metabolism or intermediate metabolism."
So long story short, if you see myc piss don't freak out. Your colony is just eating and drinking. Could be due to immune response to contaminates. Could be the mineral makeup of the substrate. Could be your colony is just a bunch of fat lazy bastards that eat fast food and dont clean up after themselves.
Piss is a biproduct of life.
