Advice Needed: Spore Inoculation Outdoors in East Japan

Hi,
I live in East Japan in an area loaded with tree-covered trails, parks with large grassy areas, and temple complexes with pine and cedar trees.
Climate: warm oceanic / humid subtropic.
I’ve attached pics so you can see what I have to deal with.
Questions:
1. If you were to order a spore print and inoculate these areas, which species would you get? 2. How would you do it? Scrape spores in water and then sprinkle it onto wet woody debris, and inject with syringe?
Any intel would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

Hi there, the pictures haven't shown up for me, but simply releasing spores into an area is unlikely to lead to any results. You will need to culture the mycellium yourself like normal, and then spread that through the areas you want to grow muchrooms in nature. So the starting place would be the same as any other mushroom grower: Tek List - Information for mushroom cultivation
First you will need to germinate the spores at home, either in a jar of rice flour like the classic Brown Rice Flour Cakes, or by germinating on agar to ensure it is free of contamination and then making grain spawn. After your mycellium is growing, you would either bury it at the place you want to grow, or spread it around in disturbed earth, etc. I don't know much about the best conditions to start an outdoor grow personally, but threads like this one and others found by using the search tool will be informative. edit: And of course the process will be different depending on which mushrooms you want to grow...
Edit: Before getting into the cultivation however, have you hunted for any psychoactive mushrooms in the area? I am not familiar with the psilocybe mushrooms of japan, but there are certainly psilocybe native to Japan, such as Psilocybe subcaerulipes.

Thufir_Hawat,
Great intel. Thanks!
You've given me alot of homework.
I am new to 'active' mushroom hunting. I read Paul Stamets' book on psilocybin mushrooms of the world.
I have been doing recon mostly since it had been cold, but it is warming up here now. Moss has emerged but no mushrooms yet.
I found a few tree stumps today that had patched of mycellium on them already.
Might these fruit soon?
