About five hours into it and it's pretty engaging.
The game takes place somewhere in the southwest-midwest and the area is over run with crazy cult members. One of the generic NPC guys looks a lot like a hobo but theirs this similarity of the family to the Manson Family I think you'd guys enjoy.
Is it worth full price? Probably not, withen months this game will be 40 bucks, a year from now maybe even 20 bucks but it's a beautiful looking game in 4k and if you have nothing else to do before God of War comes out it's worth a bang.

Im probably going to get it when the price drops a little after paying full price for primal, which was a huge dissapointment imo

Its dope a bit glitchy then again ubisoft does not exactly have the money rockstar does to beta test. You can deff see the hard work the developers put into it.

It's pretty good. It's more open and you can do the story in different parts. You don't have to do radio towers to unlock the map this time (you have to climb them for other shit). And it looks slightly better. The enemies also seem a little tougher and smarter than in older games. Overall, I recommend it if you like Far Cry.

Montana in the game is not very pretty. They should have picked somewhere cooler and more visually appealing. The previous two games were in the Himalayas, and the Pacific Islands for fuck's sake. Montana seems bland and boring as fuck in comparison. There was a lot prettier stuff in the world when you ran around in the previous two, especially in FC4. I think I might go back and play 4 again at some point.

LOL, graphics and effects in FC5 actually just got significantly worse overall from FC4.

no far cry 5 is by far the best looking game i've ever played
it's not as fantastical as other games
but it's really the only game I have played where 4k made a difference other then some random pixel on the screen
whatever they did to make it run at 60frames without two titan x's is ok for me

I really don't think a muzzle flash makes much of a difference on optimization tbh, they should be about the same size no matter how shitty they look.

That's what I thought the first time I played Far Cry Primal. They both seem to be running on the same engine because the foliage is almost identical, minus Primal's prehistoric plants.
I thought Ghost Recon Wildlands was pretty incredible, the variety of environments from desert to jungle to snowy mountains was awesome to have in one game.
This game is definitely super dope. Its definitely entertaining finding a boat and fishing in the middle of a lake.

Farcry games are really fun, but they went for the most generic choice for this: modern day USA. I could think of so many more interesting settings than that. I really loved Farcry 2. The setting, the atmosphere... and you need to play it on the hardest difficulty for the best experience.
