I've been cultivating for several years now with much success.
Although lately, i haven't been able to get a tub to fully colonize in over a month!!
Im really not sure whats going on. Im going to include some pictures of tubs i have currently that i think are beginning to look suspicious.
I've thrown around 10 tubs away that all started to look like this after about 10 days. Thenn shortly after that it turns to what i know for sure is trich.
I haven't really changed procedure, or locations of anything related to my cultivation practices.
Not gonna make this too long just wanted to throw a few pics up and see if anything sounds/looks for miluar to a problem you have experienced.
Maybe this should have went to contamination thread? Sorry if so!!

Here are some pictures of my spawn before inoculating my sub.(coir only)

Pretty sure this spawn looks clean...

these are inoculated from more grain.

Grains do look to wet. Im not a fan of g2g alot of contams hide on that jar edge from my experience. Glad the agar was used. Moisture content i would say if off

Ok, thanks for your input. What is your favorite inoculate?
G2G is the only way i've ever expanded. Been thinking about GLC, But if your not a fan of G2G... i dont think you'd think much for of GLC? eh?

Agar has been amazing though. Simple easy and very affective. I just did my firat agar to grain wedges, colonizing nicely

g2g is the cornerstone of mushroom cultivation. MS syringes arent really meant for knocking up jars as spores are inherently filfthy. put them on agar first.

I always get contams g2g, i know its my process. Not wiping the jars good enough or something. I need a larger sab also i can only get about 8 jars in mine with room for movement. Have to slide them around and all, maybe making air currents doing that. The g2g is my only trouble so far. I agree with the syringes, i just did some spore prints to agar, see how they go in a few weeks. I always do agar now, transfers and all.
