Okay so I had normal bruising on the surface of my tray. Blue, but now there is a bit of greenish that seemed to spread a small part of it has black dots. What should I do with it?? Here’s what it looked like a few days ago :

And now ....

I would wait for those fruits to mature, harvest carefully. Then i would toss or bury the trays. Those contams will take over before you know it

Are they safe to eat? I’ve isolated this one tray alone. Can these spread to the other trays? I had them in there before it turned green and until whenever I noticed it. It happened over night ???

As long as they are not rotten i would eat them... well i prefer tea. Just watch you dont cut into the contams and dry the fruit right away

The green stuff is spores. Every time you open the container they float into the air. They will ride the currents and on youto everywhere around. The more there is the worse the troubles will be. The fruits are safe to eat if you dehydrate them. If you leave that around you're gonna have a bad time.

What I did was chop an entire square out of the contaminated area with a sterilized knife and spear headed it. I then sprayed hydrogen peroxide on the area. I noticed this area did not colonize very well at all and was lacking mycelium, there was no other discolouration besides the top surface. I then disinfected the tub and cleaned everything with iso alcohol. Then I sprayed Lysol in the room it was in everywhere.

Never cut out contams, there is a lot more than what is visible. Sterile blade or not you just spread them

I figured if I’m gonna try and let it mature a bit more it’s be better to get rid of the highest source of spore producing shit instead of just letting it grow. Who knows it’s my first time so I’m kinda winging it. Hopefully it’ll be alright. Thanks guys for ur help
