Hey there guys, surly some of you have simple little questions that you have had a hard time getting a straight answer on by searching. Well if you got any cultivation questions, and can't find an answer, ask here and us tribe members will do our best to answer from our collective knowledge.
If asking a specific question about a grow of yours, PLEASE POST PICS, it makes it so much easier for us to help you with a solid answer.
If you have multiple questions, PLEASE try to keep them in a readable format, and not one gobbled mess, of run on sentences.

In my opinion, YES! it almost always completely does away with first flush blobs. some of my cultures seem to blob no matter what but most do amazingly (first flush) with a proper peat/verm casing, ph adjusted to around 8 and applied after full colonization about 1/4 inch thick.

Well, that answers my next question too. Thanks

I got a noob PC question. Never used one.
Directions aren't real clear but say open the steam valve after turning off the burner. That seems really counter intuitive. I think if I open it up at 15psi it's gonna steam out hard for a long time.
Shouldn't I let the pressure drop inside then open it to release the last bit?

You are right to think you should let the pressure drop on its own. I have never known any directions to say that.

Right on. It could be my interpretation but I shit you not. AA X-series directionsPage5 step 7.
"At the end of the sterilization period, turn off the heat source and move the lever on the control valve to the upright position so the steam is permitted to escape."

OK, that is a sterilizer and NOT a pressure cooker. Follow the instructions in that booklet. I will see if Ham knows anything since I don't have anything that fancy.

Well a sterilizer is better, and I would assume the instructions would be right. Maybe with those, they are unable to drop the pressure on their own. I sent Ham a msg seeing if he knew, he knows his shit.

No, don't open the steam valve after turning off burner. Let PC return to atmospheric pressure on it's own time with steam valve shut.
Releasing steam valve after turning burner off will drop pressure very rapidly, and cause grains to puke the moisture you worked so hard to achieve.
