I went out and got these today with an semi-experienced hunter, and was wondering if they’re good to eat? When I got them they were a light-ish Brown colour, but I left them in a closed ziplock bag for a few hours, and they got significantly darker. There’s definitely some blue bruising on most of them, I’m wondering if they’re good to eat? And if any of them aren’t.
I suggest you make a bunch of posts real quick and after you get 10 in go to the Mushroom ID forum. Also, read the requirements on info for the forum and ask there. And just copy the url and embed the photo in your post.
I know every mushroom is edible at least once, but you want to be certain what you have. Don't risk it if you don't know.
