I decided not to pick all these before dunking. Was it the right decision?

Hi everyone, i just harvested some tubs, but there were still a bunch of Tiny pins.
I was unsure of if they were aborts or not, but figured they aren't because the caps haven't turned black. So I decided to leave them for the 2 hour dunk since I've been told pins for the second flush can be established during the first flush.
Was this the right decision you think? Do these look like aborts or just simply healthy pins?

EDIT: Also, with one of my tubs i harvested what i believe were a bunch of healthy pins before dunking for the second flush, because i didnt not yet understand what an abort looked like and i thought they were aborts. They looked the same as the mushrooms in the pictures above. Will that mess up my second harvest you think now that all those pins are gone? Thanks

I wouldn’t worry about it too much man, you will know if they are aborts when they stay small and the rest grow big. Your dunk with those still there is fine, it won’t mess up your second flush. If you are going to cut your fruits when you harvest, I would maybe cut a little closer to your substrate, you left some knarly stumps. Just wait it out, nothing you can do now just watch things, all is well.

Alright sweet thanks for the response man. So do you think the ones where I harvested the pins (because I accidentaly thought I they were aborts) will still be able to have a second flush? I cut as many of them as I could off. I'm hoping new pins will still form.
And do you think the stumps will cause me any problems or does it just not look good?

The stumps should be fine, they already look like they are reverting back into mycelium, just looks funky. I’m sure you will get more mushrooms just give it time. When I harvested mine, I basically cleaned out the sub, left a few tiny pins, and I have a bunch of new ones coming back. Just keep the conditions right and you should get more.

Awesome, I was scared that no new pins would pop up and that I destroyed all future flushes. I've seen Roger rabbit say that a few times, but it's probably/hopefully outdated info
