Plant id? Central america * 1

I’m in Central America visiting. I’m almost certain I saw hundreds of mimosa hostilis trees. I’m horrible at identifying trees but they did have the pink flowers.

these plants are in my yard.
Is that a baby MH tree?

The one on the left is a Rose, Rosa rugosa and the other I think is Albizia julibrissin.

I didn’t think it was a MH cause the bark is a lighter color. Thought it was cause it’s a small tree. I’ll try to take photos of the trees that I think are MH

The trunk and older branches tends to lose them ime, but younger branches with leaves definitely have them and they can get you pretty hard, basically like cacti. I think that's where the hostilis name comes from too.

Here are some mostly dead branches I harvested from mine, as you can see the branches on top have thorns but the larger ones at the bottom don't.
