Wispy mycelium in grain jars?

I used one syringe straight to grain in my sab. This is what the mycelium looks like 4 days later in all the jars I inoculated. I feel like I've seen this kind of mycelial growth before in some of my jars a while back and I don't remember there being any problems, but I don't remember clearly and didn't make a note of it.. What do you all think?

Looks pretty healthy to me, how did you prep your grain (doubt it's the reason but maybe a bit dry?) Also what temp are you incubating at? Constant?

Doesn't look bad really. If all the jars look like that it might be fine. Doesn't look particularly good either.

Thanks for the feedback. I have them at 70-72 (room temp) and prepped em with FooMan's tek because I always burst a ton of grains doing them Frank's way. Now that you mention it I had my jars sitting in my SAB for a week before inoculating them so I wonder if that led to them being dry and looking this way..

Right on, I'm gonna ride this one out and if they get wonky they're gettin' the boot. Been working with agar too (gonna use your tigerbomb maneuver in a few days) but there's a part of me that also likes rolling the dice with ms syringes haha. Definitely spawning these in shoeboxes so I don't risk losing it all together.

That shouldn't be a problem if the jars where well hydrated and the filter doesn't allow for too much evaporation. Normal procedure is to prep grain right and inoculate ASAP but just so you're not giving contams a week of advantage in colonizing all that gooood stuff.
Give it a few days and update with pics I'm quite curious about how it pans out.

Right right, yeah it was a bummer. Expected syringes on a Friday and got em the following Tuesday and planned around the original date by prepping grains but whateva! Yeah, they didn't seem like they dried much. I checked on them again tonight and they are looking a little more like what I'm used to. I'll definitely keep you posted and throw some pics up in a few days. Thanks dude..!

This is how they looked yesterday before I gave them a shake, so I'm feeling good about everything now.

looking good!!
I'm guessing that black spot around centre/top right is just an optical ilusion from a darker seed and not contam?
Also shaking is sometimes is most useful is really concentrated to one area and you need to disperse mycelium so it you artificially create a lot more inoculation points, yours looked like it was decentralized enough, but then again that can be my aversity to shaking speaking.... it's easy to over shake and hard to undershake, but what is shaken, is shaken...

Update:
Looks decent so far..! Gonna spawn each jar to a shoebox at like a 1:1 / 1:1.5 ratio. Will update with fruits in a few weeks (unless I get rekt by the trich gods).
