Yesterday I got drunk with a friend and we planted Azzie mycelia into some new mulch in the middle of a plaza. Not a single fuck was given, haha. One guy was really curious what we were doing tho. We said it was something for ornamental purposes, haha. Which is true really.

Sweet!
Question. Would that fruit as a cake?
It probably needs the soil huh?
Anyway, looks fantastic, little block of love right there.

Who knows? People have fruited ovoids indoors. Anybody has experience with that? What do ovoids need to fruit?

Hello, is there anything I can grow with old cyans that have a lot of spores on them? They were found dried and probably old and seem to have lost a lot of potency. Maybe a  Liquid culture in salt and sugar?

If the mushrooms themselves are old and dried then you won't be able to take a culture, but you could probably still germinate the spores. Take prints on foil and use that to inoculate liquid culture or agar plates. Eat the mushrooms.

If someone following our lil' adventure...

The 2 testubs are replaced to the cellar after two weeks of warming and a good dunking.

Conditions are:

12-13 C°
RH 95 %
lights on from 7:00 to 16:00
misting daily, gently.

I think if we are right we can see pins in a month.

so ...

Serbica patch colonizing nicely, had to move it though...

That last pics tells me it won't be lost in this place though, and I informed the new caretaker of the place of the nature of the spot, so if he would want to, he could add fresh wood chips every year...

Some P cyanescens germinated on no pours. Had some bacterial spots but I let em run and the myc covered everything. Added the cardboard later to test the cultures vigor. This was week or two ago, they are mostly white with myc now, time to transfer to something else.

Ovoid myc in a tub outside

First ovoid pins in my lilac pot!

I have some azzi, alleni and cy grain jars from spores ready I plan on expanding this week, I'll post some of those too. Good work folks this thread is dope!

How do you guys prep woodchips and egg cartons? Do you just soak overnight, or do you PC or something else?
