Ended up birthing and shedding to minitubs with a Hpoo based substrate on night of 4/13. It’s 4/15 and the one I did at almost a 1:1 ratio is colonizing real fast with a good amount of white on top of the minitub already. The other one which was more like a 1:2/1:3 ratio also has a good amount of white on top just not as much. Keeping colonizing conditions at a high humidity and around 72 degrees. The lids on the mini tubs have 5 small poke holes in them made with a steak knife, that should allow for enough air Exchange yes? Note: When I lifted the lids off the minitubs they had quite a bit of condensation on the underside of them. I’m assuming it’s due to the higher temp inside the mini monos causing the condensation and it’s nothing to worry about?

Sounds good to me. If you find there isnt enough airflow, punch more holes. Some minitubs dont even need holes at all though. Also, the condensation is due to the mycelium breathing. Its sort of like when you breath and fog up a car window.

Should more holes be poked due to the large amount of condensation? I’m kinda assuming no considering it’s suppoded to be at 98/99% humidity.

Ended up turning out very well. Got 1.75 oz dry first flush, and it’s almost done with the second flush. 2nd is looking to be a bit less. Thanks for all the help!
