Hope she smokes as good as she looks.

Final yield: 155g

Give us a report on the flower . I've read nothing but good things about Jordan of the Islands genetics and this variety I added to "my must grow list." Beautiful frosty bud

I think this is the 30 or 31st day of flowering for my first grow.

They look a bit thin, but they're covered in pistils. does weed bulk out later on in flower or when does it stop?
[edit] i dont know why it's covered in 3 finger leaves. The plant has only ever had 5 fingers max, even the outdoor clone that is still not flowering. Almost as tall as I am, though.
[edit2] help i have weed finger count envy

A lot of run out clones only throw low number finger counts. As plants veg they'll run up in finger count until they sex, then some might run a few more out but most stay at that count until preflowering gets more serious then they start losing finger counts til just a few blades as flowering becomes the major plant function, they continue that until light change(with photos) or pollination then, they swell at that point, then the last of it is oil production and trich maturation.. So clone from clone (probably,.. not bad if always healthy), then health and nutrition, environment and photo period, that's most of what contributed to finger count.. Cheers

What is a "run out clone"..?...
I was wondering what causes single finger & three finger leaves.....
I have 4 clones and two of them had a few single finger and three finger leaves going on when I got them earlier this summer....The single finger and thee finger leaves are all WAY WAY bigger than the rest of the leaves on the plant(s), they look like beasts compared to the rest of the leaves on the plant and they're also the only leaves that have been turning yellow and dropping. (I wasn't sure if it's because of an N deficiency or if they're yellowing/dropping just because they're old leaves?...I'm still not sure?...).
Besides those few single and three finger leaves...the rest of the plant(s) have lots of 5 to 6 fingers and a few with 8, all new growth has 5 to 8 fingers.

Autos on 7-28

Same Autos on 8-6

Gelatos. Started flowering a few days ago

I also have a question. I cut down my Sour D and I have had it hanging in a closet for like 5 days and it is pretty dry. When I bend the main stems they have a pretty crisp snap. When I bend the smaller branches they just bend. Should I let it hang more or is it ready for curing?

Holy crap, 5 days later and I think she has started to really let herself go..!

Are these the makings of them fabled buds everyone talks about?
I flushed her today, to test pH. Quite acidic, around 5.0 possibly lower. I flushed with only two gallons of water because I couldn't lift the pot to remove the water collector anymore, and didn't want to risk damage due to its tiny home.

Beautiful coloring on that mate! Anybody heard of flushing with ice water few days prior to harvest to encourage purple-ing?

I'm not sure what is happening to my plants, but they started to look brown/burned/dried up closer to the lights. Can someone confirm what this is? I believe it's just light burn but I am inexperienced obv

The buds farther away from the light are doing fantastic still with none of these burned out leaves. This is an experimental plant so I don't mind losing smokes off it. I am thinking I should cut off the burned ends and attempt to dry it out.
I plucked off a piece from one of the biggest burned colas to see what the inside looks like and it is a very light shade of green underneath. It was also very dense while wet and my fingers were glued together. I haven't touched sticky weed since my first ever toke.

that is weird, i flushed it 4 or 5 days ago and haven't watered or fed it since. I have been waiting for the pot to dry out before I did that.
[edit] here is a picture of the bud I plucked off. maybe that will show it off better.

It looks like all you did is remove leaves and nodes which doesn't really achieve anything at this point, counter productive even. Removing fan leaves that hide buds from light is good, as well as lollipopping the bottom larfy growth, but you really went super hard there. She'll be ok though, but you just removed tons of nodes which would have produced perfectly good buds, your harvest would have been much better with the plant as it was before imo.
If you wanted it to bush out you need to actually top the branches (ie cut the last node) so that more shoots come out, not deleaf.
Not sure where you're located but for most of the northern hemisphere flowering is right around the corner now, just a matter of days. I wouldn't do anything more to it right now if I were you.
