Plus net pots just arent the solution as well when using nursery pots or bags for mass planting, it doesnt even sound as good and wouldnt give the same results thats clear as day just reading the difference.
How would I know soil that holds a lot of water works if I didnt try it twelve years ago and then extended upon trying it into different forms of trying ti into other methods, into even more methods, and finding the best methods? You've got to try things like full coco (water retention) vs mostly perlite and then see what the roots look like how fast the roots took over the medium, which relates to how fast the plant above ground will progress as well. Just talking to you, you have done none of this and probably have rarely if never trimmed roots in different mediums either.
Look at your plants in the corner of your house. You will either need a lot more experimenting to do with that shitty soil or you can stay getting really really inferior results that would never be considered when put beside mine. The best excuse is you cant afford to take care of those plants which has been my problem with the plants you point out (youre talking about mass planting and dug up soil). However you're standing so strongly by youre original arguements you cant play this card.
You keep calling my soil shitty as an insult, but I take it as a compliment. I have some of the shittiest soil. It took me years and years of trial, error, experimenting, and reasearh to hone my shitty soil mix.
I wouldn't take the advice of someone who schizophrenically rants about soil and doesn't even know what humus is, or proper compost is, or that a good soil doesn't start with dirt you find in Florida after digging up some grass, or thinks that a good soil mix is 40% coco and 60% perlite, or doesn't even know what a fabric pot is....
I also wouldn't take the advice of someone who post this as an example of their bud. That's for damn sure.

That's the only picture from this harvest

Youre being deceptive with that picture of one bud, the only pic I got of any buds that was being shown for trichome density not the quality of the bud (that grow had problems and stopped being taken care of at day 14 out of 90 or so, got their water once a month instead of once every two weeks and the end quality is still better than anything youve grown in your entire life). Thats clearly not a good picture of dried bud as its a new camera and I cant even get good pictures of mushroom gillls with it as we have already found out in mushroom hunting section however Im finding better settings for it.
The only reason you dont think 40/60 coco/perlite isnt good is because youre ignorant as fuck and youre showing youre nothing but deceptive and speak out your ass when you know nothing tell us more about your high knowledge on leds and how to select the good ones by paying 500 dolalrs for a shit light, youre an ignorant troll being nothing but degenrate towards someone who is going to make peoples grows better something you could never do becuase youve proven yoyrself too retarded to even fuckin speak on these topics. You speak out your fuckin ass like on leds and whatever else is said is trying to manipulate things into a false reality you want people to see nothing you psot is even worth reading its all trash.

This quotes going in my journal and you should ban the person who speaks out his ass nothing of value when hes proven to be nothing but a trash talker troll.
I'm going to make everyone want him banned as well as his friends. Noone is going to be able to post about cannabis without having their posts compared to superior buds in the future.

Dont worry next time I harvest ill add the extra work of taking pictures harvesting is already enough work but ill make sure to do some extra before i fall asleep doing pure work of harvesting plants. And Ill be shitting on everyones posts because you support trash like el torcho who cant even grow a fuckin tomato plant without putting it in shit soil and watching it droop/die and shit being overly saturated and roots suffering in shit soil.

Plants dont need bacteria and mycorhizzae. on performance its more than likley placebo if any, and in comparison to switching out of soil there should be no comparison to stay.
No sense in even saying any of this because youre going to come back with some other desperate post that tries to make me look wrong when right.
Tell me more about leds talk out of your ass on something you know nothing about just to act as if someone is giving bad information. Why are you so desperate to cover over someones good information with desperate arguements when you dont even know what you are talking about?
Look man, you manifestly have never grown in soil before. On the other hand, I'll tell you one thing, there's a good reason why my DWC + Top-drip hydro system is just sitting there in my basement collecting dust, while my tent is filled with soil-grown plants...

Also, yeah I most definitely do not know anything about LEDs, Chinese 5w diodes SMD panel on the left, Chinese COB with 6 spots in the middle, and Cree CXA3070 x2 at the back. Do you see the difference?

I see a huge overstretch of what looks to be a lower wattage light maybe a 300 watt panel. Maybe even a dimmer one not knowing what you were buying how much power does it pull to maximum power?
All of those lights overpushing the area they should be in.
The cob plants look more stretchy than the 5w diodes as well. Just having three of them don't mean much at all. I had three of them in 2010 or so, didnt know much about them and was accepting what they were producing, atleast youre trying different lights although it seems to fall into what ive already said.
I've grown in all kinds of soils/soilless mixtures. Soilless mixtures and making good ones is enough for judgement of the same thing with nutrients in the soil and calling it soil.
I leave coco out of my tents for a reason, its inferior what you are posting is ass backwards and seems to confirm what I've been saying.

Sounds like youre using soil to me.

merch137 said: When I hear soil I think of something black, compact, and waterlogged. Once the plants are large a little more water retention seems ideal but when they are small they wont be able to suck up all the water and it will saturate.
And look its a smaller plant having these issues

Quote:
starfirexlove said: mixed that soil with a bunch of coco coir and perlite
Even when I took bad soils and try to cut them with things like perlite and coco the badness just transferred into the other soils. I think one time I mixed shit dug up with coco and perlite and ended up with black perlite that looked nasty and the coco was looking nasty too.
Aside from ph being possible just the soil being muddy/compact/water retention being too much I've already talked about you can start getting slews of problems, and dead or rotted plants in entirety. Just all kinds of problems even stuff like what you just seen. This problem is more than likely caused by roots going into really shitty soil that holds too much water/saturating.
If it looks like shit when it dries its more than likely a terrible soil as well.
See how it doesnt look very clean when this dries it might even crack up like compact soils tend to do with a signature look yours is having to a slight degree, I wouldnt use this again and stick with coco and perlite. Compare them, and while youre at it make one of your mixes really high in perlite and compare that as well. Thank me later.
If you get a quick recovery a few days is almost nothing to be stalled in the duration of that plants life.
One scenario thats theory : The water saturates the plant cannot suck it all up (you dont want to water it again due to overwatering) then its like a hydro plant sitting without an airpump, think a fishtank when this happens the water gets a nasty oily look on top and smells nasty. The saturated water runs out of oxygen, makes the soil look nasty, and similar problems to a hydro plant with no oxygen can happen which can look similar to that plant, the plant just starts dieing and you dont know whats going on.

Another glue

I'll have to watch this one. Picked it out from my last year's grow. Wouldn't be that bummed if it was a male to cross with one of the glues.
I've tied a couple main stalks horizontal cause I got the room to grow and want to see what happens.

These germinated in 80% unwashed beach sand/gravel. the stems are thicker than seedlings grown in regular soil. maybe cause they had to struggle to sprout out of the ground since it’s heavy?

Showin ya'll my 5 individual tomaters growing here.. They approaching week 5 of veg right now, already added the veg juice n then took that one guys advice on adding the horse manure.. Plucked some of the bottom yellows.
One of en has a burnt brown rip in the one leaf, the one with the least leaves is the one and only one that accidentally had miracle grow in the mix, the other three tall babes I'm happy with. If your noticing a slight yellow tinge to any of the other good ones, I had over watered but I solved that, it's just right now where i am in Southern Ontario, days are long and HOT AS FUCK. Maybe floridians could resonate with the heat over ere leek fwok'!

Got a grow tent setup
My auto is recovering some, has about 45 days left to finish. Meh

I really like how the Zamaldelica is growing, will definitely clone if female. Is it normal for it to grow like this? I looks really indica to me. It supposed to be full landrace sativa, lul. I don't know though I'm a newb, but do you think that ace seeds gave me something else?

My Haze x Kali China(70% sativa) looking much more.. sativa-like

Question for those with outdoor experience/knowledge....
Do outdoor plants go through a "flowering stretch" like indoor plants will? Like this>>>

I know that indoors grown plants will stretch and grow quite a bit more once the lights are flipped to 12/12, seems some plants almost double in size....
....but since with outdoor the amount of light is just slowly tapering rather than changing over night, I'm assuming that there wouldn't be as much of a dramatic stretch/increase in growth during flowering and rather just a consistent rate of growth....?....Or do outdoor plants also explode in size during flowering?
For the longest time I always assumed that the plants actually slowed down their vegetative growth dramatically during flowering, with the buds swelling up I figured overall vegetative growth slowed down....but it appears the opposite is true....just learned about this a couple months ago lol, just wondering if it's the same for outdoor plants?
